Asus Maximus Extreme or Extreme Glacial for me because I haven't built a new rig in over 10 years, i want the best, I have the money burning a hole in my bank account and even if the logic is flawed, I'd like this new rig to potentially last another 10 years.

Underwater with a EK acetal nickel block. 55C highest under furmark, 50c under regular gaming. Cant get past 1100 without artifacts after a few minutes. Using the beta 17 afterburner file with +100mv and +50 power limit. :( Testing the memory speed now. Currently at 1350..

until you get that third card, you can run the second gpu on the third slot for better cooling and x16/x16. Thats probably gonna give u a little difference on your setup considering your monitors lol. Sounds like your three 480s will be watercooled by the time you get all that in .

NV surround setup is much MUCH easier and more intuitive now. I havent seen a performance difference on SLI 480's on NV surround tho...yet.
