i use a linksys wifi pcmcia card in my laptop, although mine didnt have native support, so i had to use ndiswrapper to get it to work

i put slackware with fvwm on an old 166, ran fine, albeit slightly slow ;)

the only think i use windows for anymore is games linux is far more stable (although i will admit xp is pretty dam stable) and better suites what i do on a day to day basis (which is school work and web programming)

yeh, i couldnt decide between a 9800 pro or a 6600gt (which does come in agp 8x models), both are about the same price wise, but the 6600gt has faster clock speeds, but is only 128 bit with my current specs would i see any improvement using a 6600gt over the 9800 pro?
