In my younger days, I've been pretty scared from the Silent Hill and RE series games, but I don't think Doom 3 will be too scary. From the looks of the trailer, though, F.E.A.R. seems to be ready to deliver all the shit-your-pants quality frights one would want.
Wait... is that Marshmallow Fluff next to your desk in the 2nd pic? I've seen a lot of weird things in the posts, but that takes the cake. Or marshmallow.
Yeah, it takes the marshmallow.
I have a Soundblaster Audigy2 ZS Soundcard, and was wondering what would be the best way to connect it to my reciever. It's probably a pretty basic question, but sound is something that always seems to confuse me. Help, please!
I'm running a GeForce3 Ti200 ashamedly, until I have money and can afford a 6800GT, and I can run FarCry at 1024x768 with low settings and stay constantly above 30FPS.
Right..
I'm a first-time builder, and following the instructions in the manual to install my mobo and cpu, I became lost. It says to install a backplate on the backside of the mobo, but no backplate came with my processor. What's the deal?

If anyone's seen the video for Battle of Middle Earth, let me tell you, that game looks great. I'll definately be getting that!
RoN is awesome though. I used to be insanely addicted to it.
Of course, I'll definately be buying this game, regardless of whether or not I could download it or not. It's always nice to get a pre-release to see what you're getting though.
I played the Korean and U.S. betas, and had a level 22 character at one point. The game is very time-consuming, and besides killing monsters over and over, there really isn't much else to do.
I'd suggest either waiting for WoW or checking out City of Heroes. I hear good things about CoH, and...
I've got a 64-bit rig that I'm currently building, a 3 year old Dell 8100 that my parents use, and of course, my 300 dollar emachines that I turned into a media server.
I just spent a good 700 bucks at zipzoomfly last week. Their prices were almost always lower than newegg's, and their free 2-day air was nice too. But Newegg has them beat when it comes to RMA'ing. Hopefully I won't have any problems with any of the equipment, and it kind of makes me wish I...
I went to CompUSA and checked out all 3 sized Powerbooks the other day, and I must say that the 15" and the 12" were the only ones that I would consider. Anything over 15" on a notebook is overboard, in my opinion.
