I've been running this for 13 years, BFG 800 watt PSU:

I really think about it dying one of these days, I always have a spare PSU somewhere to get me running again, but surely it can not keep running much...
I followed the slick deals wiki, I just skipped the first firmware down grade and enabled the telnet by removing the html disable lines in the browser, f12.
Otherwise it was smooth. Used the little CFE program to extract the Mac address and WPS code. After I wrote the new CFE and cleared the...
Likes: Cooling is top notch, lots of places to put fans. Cable management is easy with all the places to hide your wires.
ITX only offering are slim, and expensive. Like to see prices come down with out sacrificing quality.
Seasonic has the reputation of excellent quality and backs that up with real world results. When I am looking for the best in power supplies, I think of only Seasonic.
Had many Asus boards over the years.
Had an A8N32-SLI Deluxe that had spans of time that it worked well and other times it would not boot. Had to RMA it several times. Asus would send it back with reflashed bios, by the third time Asus replaced the board with new one.
All in all a good...
My first real case was an Antec and it had an enormous at the time 400 watt psu. That case and power supply took everything I threw at it and lasted several upgrade cycles. I love Antec for it's price and performance. Never had an Antec powersupply fail on me.
Love to try out a modular...
I tried my drive out a few days ago. I got the silverstone sata/power adapter. It seemed to work just fine. I thought the read speed was a bit slow, but I was using it to install VMware and didn't give it a full test.
I'll test it out some more, but the silverstone cable seems to work just...

Just wanted to give thumbs up to Digistor and AFD for working on this deal.
I ordered a Blu-ray drive on 11-5 and it showed up on 11-7. 2 day shipping from CA to OH is nothing to sneeze at and it was free shipping to boot.
Also the drive was carefully packed with bubble wrap and again...
If you have been watching Microsoft for the last few years, then I don't find him leaving a surprise. Microsoft has clearly lost it's way under his leadership and the Surface RT debacle final opened enough eyes to get him out of there. He was not a worthy successor to Bill Gates.
Anyone tried one of these yet? I'm looking at fitting a power supply in there. A Seasonic SS-300SFD. It's a half inch taller due to the fan on top of the power supply. I'm guessing it probably does not fit.
Linksys sucks, was good back in the late 90's. Belkin is just buying someone that is at their quality level.
My Asus RT-N16 just died on me after 2.5 years.
Picked up a Netgear, thing has been rock solid so far.
I'm still on the bios it shipped with. Haven't had a reason to flash it.
I have had no problems with this board for the last 8 months. It's been flawless. I've run Max Payne 3 with a 560 GTX and it's been very nice. Very happy with my first Asrock.
