I saw a MA license plate that read 1337 Y0. It was an old guy who was driving it, not sure he really knew what he had on his hands, hehe. I too wish I had a camera ready, but I was driving.
Howdy all,
Exactly as the topic reads, anyone recommend a printer for Vista SP1 Ulti x64? I just built a computer and am looking for a new printer. Nothing fancy. Kind of got my eyes on a nicer HP, but just not too sure where to look for good reviews on people's experiences so far.
Thanks!!
Howdy all,
I am posting my setup that I am parting together to see what you all think of the setup. I am going to be using it to run VMware and cut my teeth on some new things.
1. EVGA 132-CK-NF78-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard\
2. Intel C2Q6600
3. 4GB GSkill...
Howdy all,
The new B3 Barcelona's are out and I want to bite. I really would like to get a 8core workstation together. Looking to run a number of VM's as my own personal test environment. Is the ASUS L1N64-SLI WS/B the best way to go about this? Looking to use a pair of 2350's with 8GB of...
I would suggest a BlackJack as ATT does sell them. I use one myself and I think its great. Its a nice compact unit that feels solid in your hand. It has really great Outlook integration. It will flawlessly sync my e-mails, tasks, and calendar appointments. Google Maps and Windows Live Mobile are...
I find it funny that you fail to note that that is for the 4-way Proc's which will naturally carry the heaviest price. For a Single or Dual Socket F, they are about on par with 940 counterparts pricewise
I don't know, it seems like I am the only one that seems to think that this wasn't a fair comparison. I think that 2 x 285 Opteron's vs C2Q X6700 and the Opty 154 vs. the C2D X6800. This would truely give an a somewhat accurate comparison if you think about it. The two AMD processors are...
Man, you people making big sh*t about the FX-64 should know that this processor has been out for a while, and you know who has it? Sun! They have had a rackmount server with the 3GHz Opteron in their servers for months now. So all you f4nbo1'z can eat it because AMD beat them to this punch. If...
With everyone getting their panties in a bunch about the AMD price drops that make a nose-diving airplane look slow, where is the talk about AMD's server stuff? I would like to build myself a lab PC and am looking forward to the new socket. I would like to get dual dual core CPU's in a box, and...
Pretty much what the topic says. I actually bought an IBM NetFinity 4000R with dual P3 650MHz, 2GB of PC-100 Reg ECC Ram, Adaptec 2940UW SCSI Card, CD drive. The thing with this server is that it requires a special breakout cable that gives the display, KB, and mouse. I don't really have the...
That isn't a dual core chip. That would have to be a 185 or 190 for it to be dual core in accordance with AMD's naming convention. But, yeah, if they offered this in dual core, that would be amazing!
This is probably a dumb question, but I have an Adaptec 2940UW 32bit PCI SCSI card, and I would like to hook up some hard drives to it, however I don't know if the early size limitations like IDE of yore exist in SCSI land. Would I be able to hook up a 74GB SCSI drive if I wanted to? Thanks.
Hello All,
i am looking to do some studio recording and some outdoor recordings at different venues this summer and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good lossless recording soundcards or PCMCIA cards, i would like th hear them. Thanks
Hi All,
I have a 97 Grand AM GT that I am getting rid of. I would like to sell it all together for $400, or if you would like a part just let me know. For local pickup only.
Fall River, MA
Anyone know where I can find info on this mod? I also bought a NetFinity 4000R with dual PIII 733 proc's and 2GB of ram :D , but would love to have a dual tualatin ftw :D
Just complete speculation, but maybe it handles CPU affinity a little better. Although it still doesn't answer the reason why you would be able to do dual or quad CPU. I am sure they need to make optimizations to the code. Maybe can someone do some DB benchies to see if this is the case between...
I dunno about that, the ONLY differences between OEM and Retail are the bundles and the warranty. People dont buy retail AMD processors because they alone overclock much better than OEM. People buy retail if they want a fan and a warranty. Overclockers will be using aftermarket cooling as a...
Yesh, it looks like nvidia gave those guys a spanking and told them to pull the review. I don't see why though. Its kind og like saying anyone who bought Dell's product, even though they spent $10k on it, can not publish benchies with that computer. Its ludicrous
Running that voltage is about as smart as doing a line of coke during a heart attack. I dunno what that guy is thinking, but if he has $1200 just to piss away like that, i got great investment property in the Alaskan Tundra...
Exactly, the DDR>DDR2 transition was crappy. Intel didn't exactly shit gold with that one. AMD should be given the same chance to make up ground that Intel got, if they even got anything.
