Guys, you saved my bacon on this thread! I was about to ship my monitor to ACER when I am 100% capable of doing this myself since I am a computer HW engineer of 30 years now. You guys rock!

    Audeze Mobius Review

Save $350 and download "Dolby Access" from the Windows store and you can make any games positional audio better while still making positive changes to music and video as well with your existing headphones. I didn't believe in this until I tried it. It's free to try for a week so whats to lose?

Ubisoft Changing Assassin's Creed Odyssey DLC Following Forced Relationship Furore

I couldn't care less about the sexual dynamics of it. I just love AC: Odyssey and every time they do an "ending" in the DLC like the one with your family and then this one where you settle down and have a kid feels weird. There's more DLC coming? Will there be another ending in it too? I would...

Upcoming Chromium Update Could Make Ad Blockers Less Effective

So without QoS with fqcodel I was at about a ping of 35 with net quiesced. But when family was streaming etc. the ping was up at 45. So QoS and fqcodel really help out there. fqcodel is by far the best at eliminating buffer bloat. Exampled here: There was plenty going on on my network at this...

Upcoming Chromium Update Could Make Ad Blockers Less Effective

There is some hit to the CPU but not much. And to eliminate buffer bloat you would use fqcodel for QoS. Pfsense has all of this too though? I haven't used pfsense in a while but there are many plugins that do the same as Untangle, and my friend who does use it still says fqcodel is much easier...

Upcoming Chromium Update Could Make Ad Blockers Less Effective

Thats where I am a little over the top. I have a VMware ESX free hypervisor server running Untangle in a VM. But in all truth, Untangle can run on any old PC with 2 nics and perform awesomely.

    Amazon Goes In-Car Delivery

Why is this so hard to figure out Amazon. They need to make a box. Lets say 30x30x30" with a special lock that only works for them. You can choose to put the box next to front door if you know a shipment is coming or anywhere really? I just think Amazon is overthinking this a bit?

Nearly 6 Million 8K TVs to Ship in 2022

Meh. The only way to get a pure 1080p signal right now is OTA. Much less 4k. I guess they will sell well in other countries where 8k signals will exist as I assure you Comcast will not be pushing 8k by 2020.
