I had the same problem. If you contact customer support, they will remove the restriction and allow you to purchase games from an IP that is different than the country your account is in. I'm in Germany and wanted to buy things on the US store.

Funny thing is, I bought Metro 2033 from the Germany store for 2,49€ (about $3.10), but bought Assassin's creed 2 from the US for $5 (about 4,10€). Metro 2033 was $5 on the US and Assassin's creed 2 was 5€ on the Germany store. I guess I will keep on playing the two stores against each other...

I didn't mind this game at all. The trapper class was pretty sweet for one of the maps I was playing. It was kind of like awping in counterstrike, but i do agree the controls were a bit weird but definitely playable.
