I had my BenQ T701 monitor for more than a year now. I haven't had any problems, until today. When I turn on my computer, the monitor shows the images for one second, then it goes black. The power is still connected because the green LED still is lit. Also, if I turn off and then back on the...
What options do I have to stream video from the computer to the TV? So
I can watch my video files on my WinXP computer on the TV instead of
my Mac, another computer on my network.

It doesn't say; I purchased it thinking it was a USB 2.0, but it performs like a 1.1.
I have an internal DVD writer. I wonder, is it possible to purchase an enclosure for it so it can act like an external DVD writer, just like my current hard drive that is inside an external enclosure? Is this possible? If so, any product suggestions? Please link me to some product pages.
Thanks!
Can a bad, low quality, and/or inexpensive USB hub damage connected devices? Or as long as it works, then it's fine? Since it is supposed to only relay the connection and not send any signals etc. of its own, so I was just wondering about this.
Is it possible to connect one external hard drive to 2 computers? I tried it and it didn't work. I'm guessing HDs can only handle one computer at a time? Because the second connected computer basically just doesn't notice anything is connected. :)
I have USB 1 built in to the motherboard, and a USB 2 card. I used to use USB 1. I was able to use my iPod 4G with my USB 1, and it (normally) worked fine.
Anyways, I recently installed USB 2. My USB drive works fine with the USB 2, but my iPod does not. What happens is that, when I put in my...
Alright, I got line in to work - but it's so quiet compared to the main computer.
This is my setup:
Mac Mini line out -> PC line in -> speakers
The PC's sound is fine, but the Mac Mini's sound on the speakers is about 25% of the PC's. Is this normal? How do I increase it? My primary volume...
How do I know if my audio card has line in?
I found the blue port for my audio card, but when I plugged in a 3.5 inch jack into that port, and the other end into my Mac Mini's speaker port, I heard nothing coming out of my PC's speakers. So I assume that that did not work. (And yes, I was...
Where can I find a visual comparison of video cards, which shows how the same PC game, with the same scene (preferabbly), look, when compared with each other?
An example is something that compares like this:
-----------------------
Game: Black & White 2
Card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200...
I purchased a USB 2 PCI card, and it came with a mini CD with drivers (I'm guessing I don't need those drivers, since I'm already on Windows XP.)
Anyways, I'm still curious. How do I use the mini CD in my computer? It would not align properly if I put it in like a regular CD.
Is this USB 2.0 5 ports hub PCI card a good deal?
It's from Hong Kong, though, so I am a bit wary about the quality. And it appears to be a no name brand.
Also, is it important to have a good quality USB PCI card? Or not at all?
But if the read speed for DVDs are different, then isn't the DVD reading speed different?
For instance, I thought 16x reading and 8x reading, the 16x is faster?
Does burning speed change based on media type? For instance, I was burning a DVD where all the files on it were *.avi, and the burn speed was 4x. When I burned a DVD, the burn speed was 8x. And yet my DVD burner is rated at 16x for DVD+R (which is the only thing I burn.) Also, the DVD media I...
