can suck my left nut. it has a recalled graphics card, the 8600 gt-m, and all the usb ports are loose so my mouse will randomly stop working and when i attempt to game...or at least i used to before it frustrated me to the point of where i've almost thrown it like 5 times, it will stop working...

I couldn't agree more. AMD sold me as soon as they said they had 3+ monitor support. I have been eyeballing the TripleHead2Go for a while now and feel this is going to be a much more immersive, pleasurable, and feasibly option for most. Not to mention if the only thing that Nvidia is throwing at...

well poop... sounds like I'm going to have to buy the matrox either way, guess I'll do the triple setup w/ a single card and if necessary grab another...although w/ a 4870x2 I really doubt I'll be needing another one so soon :rolleyes:

ok, a bit more in depth from my original question, 3 x 22" monitors next to each other and 2 4870x2s w/out crossfire on, can that handle the 3 monitors and what effect would that have, would i just need to keep the settings at something the video card handling the 2 outside screens could handle?

i'm talking 3 monitors that are in full use, 100% of the time, including gaming. like the matrox triplehead2go, but without it, god 3 monitors for gaming is sexy, would rather just get the alienware/acer monitor that was demoed at CES, but they are making it :confused: go figure

not exactly, i figured that i'de be good, done a format before w/out issues so...i didn't really backup all of the c drive. You were right, it's just i backed up the pertinent files in the g drive...not a copy of the c drive. but yes, g drive = missing in windows.

I messed up :eek: , I reformated the 'c' drive and backed up any pertinent information to my 'g' drive. These are 2 entirely seperate drives, the 'c' being a PATA drive w/ a partition that is the 'd' drive, which is still in tact, and I have a seperate SATA drive, which was my 'g' drive. After...

Which way is the best way to have your fan mounted on your cpu for cooling? toward the CPU or away from it. In all thought patterns it seems to me that toward it would do the best cooling, but i've heard some people talking about you need to have your fan directed away from you CPU...are they...
