If you go with the 939 later all you have to do is put the dual core 939 in they are compatible they will work with any 939 board. Just have to upgrade bios on board. Venice is good have 3000 running at 3500 nothing to it. And it carries the SSE 3 instructions and is faster core.

I'm running the venice core and they O'C easy don't have to adjust anything I have 3000 and have it running at 3500. Also venice carries new instructions for SSE 3. It is faster than older cores and cooler. Can't go wrong with it.

venice is a good core, also you can get 939 in agp boards and pci-e and they are around $100.00 Abit is a good board. I have 3 computers at home built on them. No problems and they run good.

Just bought venice and it overclocks easy. Runs great bought 3000 have it clocked at 3200 no problems. worth the money

:eek: Yea, it is worth it to get a 6800. I upgraded from 9700 pro to the Gainward 6800 Golden Sample and it OC's out of the box with software that is included with card. Big improvement over 9700 pro. Well worth money, you can see the difference.

:D Went from 9700 pro to 6800. I am very happy with the card runs great and you can see difference in games. Nvidia did it right.
