Finally. Ready to get a T440p, but can't decide if I want the FHD display or not; I have a 1600x900 T420 and at times the text seems too small (I don't really like using the Windows font scaling, either, always looks goofy to me). I can only imagine how small the UI elements would be at 1080p.

Their prices had to go up eventually. I'm surprised the streaming price hasn't increased significantly considering the bandwidth used by Netflix. Honestly, I'd pay $80 a month for their streaming service if they jacked it that high. I'm in the minority, it seems, though.

I had the October 2010 11" Air, and I got about 5 hours or so with the brightness set to what I'd estimate to be around 75% or so, and surfing sites with a little YouTube tossed into the mix. When I was just surfing a few sites, doing e-mail, etc. at around 50% brightness, I'd get close to 6.

Personal preference, 'kay, but Classic in Windows 7 looks funky; there's a lot of wasted space and oddball miscellany because of UI elements you can't disable or hide. Classic in XP was my go-to, but Windows 7 is made for Aero.
