titan x has its perks. like the time i was at MC and this guy who was getting a 980ti saw me checking out with a titan and gave me the 'blah blah blah its not worth it, what are you doing with your money???'. the SA told me that he later returned his 980ti to get a titan (but they were OOS at...
just wanted to share that I couldnt be more glad to have finished this game. I committed to playing it through so I stuck with it, but damn the world felt so static, kept getting killed for stupid reasons (wingsuit crashing into a branch, mountain lion, and overall clumsy controls) and the story...
was it supposed to be? :D anywho I just finished too and thought the game was an anthropological marvel, troll, all of it. yeah trevor and Michael got all whiney and annoying but I still enjoyed them. maybe I have much lower standards. :)
PRICE DROP TO $600 / $1250. c'man guys, the lens sells for $1000 new. :D

Hello,
I am selling my Canon EOS 7D (MK1) + 24-105 F4 L. Reason for selling is because I've gone back to Nikon.
I bought the camera new 2 years ago, am the only owner, and have babied it. It has never...
Hello guys,
I just picked up a 5960x, rampage V, and a set of crucial ballistix elite (4x4gb). Out of the box, I enabled the XMP profile (there is only 1 for this ram), which changes the BCKL to 125mhz, and ram speed to 2667 MHz at a dram voltage of 1.2V.
As I started to increase the CPU...
**UPDATE** CPU HAS BEEN SOLD.
Motherboard and ram still available. Asking $175 each or $325 combined + shipping to the US 48

Selling my 4790k because, well, yolo, and got a 5960x.
Just under a year old, and it has been under water in a custom loop ever since I bought it (EK block + IC Diamond).
Ran at ~1.28 Vcore @ 4.3 ghz (XMP profile, HT-on) for everyday use.
Idles in the low-mid 30's, and peaks at high...
uhh FSX is incredibly demanding, even the steam edition. to achieve 60fps at 1080 will require you to dial down a bunch of autogen / scenery density settings. this is based on personal experience with a 4790k and 290x lightings in crossfire.
fuark. I love my lightnings but sometimes I just want to see AMD fail HARD. maybe then they will wake up. and then if they do go under, at least everything will be gameworks optimized :D. ugh, damn hodor of a card.
sorry to offend you.
like i said, it wasn't only the clamping force that drove the switch. the 700's instantly disappear out of the box. but more importantly provide me with a far more enjoyable listening experience.
that's fine, but i'm not willing to bend a premium headset to achieve comfort. it was ultimately the combination of that (or lack thereof) and my disposition against the sound signature that made me move. I find the HD700's more exciting and enjoy the larger soundstage.
I really suggest trying these out before buying. the clamping force was too strong so it was uncomfortable to wear these for an extended period of time. really detracted from the enjoyability. also the note was too soft, even through a amp and DAC. I went with hd700's afterwards and the...
i had the LG 34UM95 for a little while before I went back to a Dell U3014. While the added width of 21:9 was nice, the reduced vertical real estate made for an overall less immersive experience, IMO.
I just returned my 34UM95. I have no idea what happened but one day a display port message popped up saying that I was now operating at a "lower setting" and that's when input lag became an issue. Tried connecting the monitor to both DP's on both video cards with the same results.
anyway, I...

To best answer your question, I recommend referring to the "Minimum Recommended Specs" for the title(s) you are interested in playing. Multiply that by 3 and you should be set.
any updates on the BSOD issue? it only happens in windows and I've used afterburner to force constant voltage and clock speeds with no success. happens at stock clocks too. there's a big thread at the AMD forums on this issue with no response from AMD.
the link to the survey is broken for me. heh.
Also, the atikmdag.sys BSOD's are starting to become a real nuisance. Windows 7 x64 Ultimate (with all updates installed), 14.7 RC3 drivers, 290x lightnings in crossfire.
