I have a motherboard and processor that supports VT-d. In ESX-i I was able to redirect a pci-e card to a specific virtual machine, It did have problems and did not work completely, but the VT-d did seem to be redirecting the card. I was able to install the drivers, and it looked good in device...
This looks like it is probably based on the RK3066 (rockchip) processor . There is hacking community forming around these devices. The same chip is in a lot of these new Android thumb PC's. (search imito mx1 , mk808 )
7" Tablets with this chip can be had for about $120 on Amazon with the same...
From your page "I personally do not see much value in having an FTP server in ESXi," . Well I do. The other methods are slower and prone to failure.
Does it take care of the Esxi firewall rules? I have seen some other postings about FTP and having to open some stuff in the firewall config...
From the 5th line in my post
"- No I will not split things up."
Maybe and i do mean MAYBE in a couple of weeks, but as it stands these prices are very low even withoout all the extra stuff.
Getting rid of some of my stuff. Priced to sell (it was before now it really is). If you see something out of line drop me a PM.
Let's start off by saying WYSIWYG. If it's not in the pictures or described, it is not included. i.e., The Original video cable for the PS3 is not included, but a...
The last time I tried installing Smoothwall I got the APM message.. I thought there was a way around that. like launching the install with specific switches. (Maybe specifying a different kernel for install?? Cant remember exactly) take a look around on the install pages for options or help.

I am getting several requests to separate items. It's only been up for a day, so -maybe- in a few more days, but as of right now I am not going to. I will respond with prices if I decide to separate in the order they came in PM.

I do not understand the need for the 881. Those have tons of crap you wont use from your description. What about a 1250 http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps8382/index.html Just make sure NOT to get the LWAPP Lightweight version (Unless you want to invest in a controller) you want the...
If your going with a linux distro you can use NTOP. Or even if your keeping the wrt 54g you can run NTOP against the router and monitor traffic. (Search dd-wrt ntop)
If your running windows do a search for NTop_XTRA_3_18_0.exe they dont make a compiled version for windows and the only place...
I Just ordered one of these today.
Brainslayer (The main guy behind the dd-wrt firmware) has one of the 3700's in his possession right now. (A forum post on Smallnetbuilder for the 3700 has a link to a posting in the DD-wrt forum where people donated enough money to get him one)
It looks...
Find the local Cisco, linux, computer, anything IT related user group, and start attending the meetings..
Computer networking is not the only type of networking you shlould be good at to get the job..
Get that 3548 and port channel with 4 100Mb links each to the 3524's yuo allready have.
So you will have 40 ports free on the 3548 and 20 each on the 3524's.
400Mb uplinks and 80 free ports.
This all spawned out of having a rotating guest wireless password. We have about 30 ish wireless Access points and another 100 ish routers and switches (all Cisco).
We need a tool to allow us to make changes to these devices in mass. In a previous job I have used Cisco works and WLSE, as well...
That looks like a INTEL control panel.. I went with default drivers for the intel, and that screen is diffrent (I will try and remember to post a picture later) I wonder if the defautl windows drivers / panel works corectly?
Under Properties for the adapter there is a power management tab. I recently noticed that by default on the 3 machines I have install win 7 on they are set to let wondows turn the power off to the device and the WOL is off. Check out the "power management" tab under the properites of the card.
What do you mean by "exterminating" in your original statement? We may be on the same page.
