Most of the machines that I use are work are HP c360's running HP-UX. I'm starting to perform more functions at my job with these machines and I'd really like to get to know UNIX better.
Are there any distros of linux that resemble HP-UX? I don't really want/need an HP box at home, but I'd...

is it just me or does the PS2 look pretty bad on the 2405?
i tried hooking mine up with component and playing some Tiger Woods 2005.
it was pretty jaggy, not very nice at all. am I setting it up wrong or something?
If you want to do what I think you're asking, just select the file and go to FILE>GET INFO (Command-i) and then click on the LOCKED checkbox in the GENERAL section.
For sure. I was still hoping that the last day would have the 2405 on sale. Damn Dell.
Now I think I'm going to have to buy the thing at full price.
EDIT: Well, I called up Dell and basically just for calling and saying I was going to go buy it from the US if it's not on sale...
I was looking up the same thing on the Apple forums. They have notoriously bad reception. Even when i'm really close to an access point (like 10 feet), my pb still doesn't get a full signal.
Try powering off the pb, take out the battery and open the little flap that has the airport card...
I have a Linksys WRT54G v2.2.
I don't like it at all. The third-party firmware is nice, but the reception isn't that great.
Also, it drops connections like they're hot. Like if I'm transfering files over WiFi, it will just crap out after about 30-50 MB, and require a reset. It seems to...
Yeah, we need an Apple store like that one they opened in London a while ago. It's in an older-looking stone building, and there's tons like it in downtown TO. The London one looked pretty damn nice.
I guess the one in Yorkdale isn't going to have a genius bar, huh?
i tried running the fsutil dirty query d:" and it told me that the drive was ditry, even though chkdsk just ran 30 seconds before when i booted and said it was fine. i tried the chkntfs /d and that didnt work either. all the registry entries are they are suppposed to be aswell.
hmm, i dont...
Everytime I reboot, CHKDSK wants to run on my D drive. The drive is a partition on a SATA RAID 1 array.
Even though it didn't find any errors the last time it ran, it still wants to run again. Is there any way to check why this is happening? If I move everything off the drive, and just...
i just installed a RAID1 array in my system and i've been trying to find some RAID monitoring software without any luck.
i know when i boot up, an error will flash saying that the RAID1 array in incomplete if a drive fails. but the problem with this is that I rarely reboot. so i want to try...
One of my friends thought it would be funny to install the Integrated Search toolbar thing in IE. They click YES in the authorization box that pops up before IE installs anything, and then they checked "Always trust information from this source".
So even though i remore it with Ad-aware...
I'm selling this for a friend.
