I have a 5.1 speaker system. Should I disable the Surround option under SBX Pro Studio? I imagine that is emulated surround for headphones but why is it checked by default?
Also, any suggested tweaks to the software to get the best sound for games?
Just installed a second GTX 680 and having issues. I get what looks like major screen tearing, whether vsync is on or off. I get black bars, mostly appearing on the bottom of the screen. And it just looks like the screen is vibrating if that makes sense. This only happens in game.
I've...

I've installed the latest Physx driver, 9.09.0408, but Nvidia Control Panel says I have the older version installed, 9.09.0203.
Anyone else having this issue? I wanted to update because I just got Cryostasis and the new Physx driver is supposed to increase performance.
I have an X-FI Extreme Gamer and I just ordered the Logitech Z-5500 speakers. I hear conflicting things about being able to get 5.1 games to play properly through the digital connection. Is there any truth to this?
Also, if need be, I was going to upgrade to an X-Fi Titanium and use the...
What should my settings be to get the best audio experience using headphones in my games???
Should the game audio setting be set to 5.1 or stereo?

Is there any website out there or guide on calibrating your monitor? Any software? I know some games have in the options where you can adjust brightness level to where you just barely read the text. But what about brightness vs. contrast, color settings, etc?

I've had an eVGA one for about a year and a half and it's been working great. I added a XFX for SLI about a month ago and now my older eVGA card died. My friends are saying because they are different brands, they don't play nice together.
Any truth to that??? They both have the same specs...

Would a single water cooling system, say like the zalman Reserator 1 or 2, be able to comfortably cool a cpu, northbridge and 2 video cards???
or would I need a more robust system like the Reserator XT???
Sorry....I've never used water cooling before....total noob.
Hey guys. Any free, easy to use software like Ghost out there. I'd like to make an image of my current install so I can quickly restore it if I need to.
I currently have 2 hard drives in Raid 0 config using onboard Nvidia Raid controller. If I was to purchase a decent Raid card, could I move those drives over to the Raid card without blowing away my OS???
I have WMP 11 and all updates for Vista. When I'm playing an audio clip and I for example, click and drag the seek button to the middle of the song, there is a 2 - 3 second delay before it plays that section of the audio.
Anyone else experience this???
