    Optimus Keyboard Not Delayed

Although the optimus keyboard is one of a kind, I would enjoy a simple LCD sized touch screen keyboard where you could setup your keyboard layout anyway you like, hell you could even play videos on it or do any measure of visual effects with the keyboard....even play games on the keyboard...

    Joining SFF

I looked at the Ballistix... a bit expensive for what i want almost pooped myself. im stuck between the Patriot the OCZ or the Corsair value. From the reviews iv read the Patriot is the best overclocker for the value over the other 2. i wanna pick the right ram but something under 250 for 2...

    Joining SFF

I looked at some review for the neo and the S12 both look like excellent power supplys but when i first saw the neo i was rather taken :) and the cable options for the neo seem better than the S12 although the S12 offers amazing power stability it just seems a bit much. Its a small case and the...

    Joining SFF

Well the upgrade bug has started to bite. I have looked through review after review to select the equipment for my new system and now I call upon the big [H]ard brain to grill over the stuff ASPIRE X-QPACK-BK/420 Black Computer Case With Side Panel Window FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX400-PN...

    [H] Buttons

I vote #4, I like the scheme... although black PCB and Red leads would be tons better if also combined with the [H]ard|OCP design and color schemeor #4. Mabey have the [H]ard|OCP logo of #4 draw by the leads and have them dissapear into the lettering while the light drawing the leads create a...

    doubling radiator....

If you stacked the radiators you would need to run the hot water through the 2nd then the first to get the best results. you would see about a 1.5X improvement in heat removal. If in parallel you would see a 2.0x improvement, although this is all theoretical.

    It's Done

Sweated together, using low temperature solder and acid based flux. It was alot of touble putting that thing together because of the short distances between solder points. All of the Tee's were shortened leaving less than 1 cm of fitting space into the tee for pipe. The gaps between the tee...

    It's Done

Well after many a week of tinkering buying and waiting I managed to cram my watercooling setup into my case. Cooling the Video, northbridge, and CPU in parallel with a custom water distrobution manifold. large 6 1/4" x 6" x 2" radiator, swiftech waterblocks and MCP600 12v pump. As i...

    I'v been wondering

Everytime I see a video card the GPU is always facing down twords the PCI slots. With the heat sink and fan installed it can consume a PCI slot, if it dosen't there wouldn't be enough space for the fan to breathe if a card is placed directly underneath. So why don't designers place the GPU...

    Help. Lost 10% bandwidth efficiency.

If you relax your ram timings you can try for a higher FSB, and see if that gets your bandwidth back. Mabey something was running in the background to cause a hit on effiency.

    dual cpu overheat

Swap the CPUS around and see if the hot CPU is cooler in the other socket and the cooler one becomes hotter. If this happens its a mobo sensor issue and not the CPU.

Another success story with the Mobile XP 2400+

Ya know when ever you point this stuff out its like steping in a pile of dog crap, then making a point about it. Best thing to do is see it make a note about it and AVOID IT at ALL COSTS befor steping in it. Yes those Mobile processors are badass :)

    Water Cooling Problem

Make shure your Waterblock is in the correct orientation on the CPU, there could also be a small possibility that air is traped in the waterblock (Unlikely) is there a kink in the tubing that could be slowing down the flow rate? Was there a thin plastic sticker on the base of the waterblock?

    The Water Cooling Dream?

Its seems as though I don't communicate my self clearly enough for you to grasp what i'm doing. I'm water cooling to have fun, to experiment, and to enjoy this project and not just to make my setup as simple and as direct as most systems for the single goal to overclock, I'm not water cooling...

    The Water Cooling Dream?

I'v been looking around; couldn't find the 12V Eheim, although i did see DangerDen's 12V pump very small compact with better flow rates than the Swiftech but looks somewhat less refined. Both the swiftech and the Dangerden cost about the same but swiftech has a 2 year warrenty, and there's...

Best way to remove memory heatsink?

Try and use some tooth floss or a razor blade and gently use a back and forth method to cut between the BGA and the heatsink to seperate them.

    The Water Cooling Dream?

Well after a long time of visiting these forums and reading all there is about water cooling, i'm at the point where the fans must go... well at least most of them. So i'm calling for your assistance in creating a rig. I'm not a crazy overclocker so i don't need fantastic expensive...
