Thanks, oddly enough I was cross shopping these two headphones, trying to decide between closed and opened. I called up the local Guitar Center and they price matched the above deal and I walked out with a $63 pair of Shure SRH440's last night.
I'd bought the HD555 earlier last week from this...
It was a kid's account so it wouldn't let him use messenger anyway, but I've done this with my account and his new one for this purpose.
That wouldn't help in this case. It was the live.com account that needed logging in to, not the Xbox part. Their split into two accounts and you have to...
Wolf3D right?
I've been playing it again through the id Steam deal a while back. Remembering beating the shareware many times and ordering the whole game. SOD, Doom, man those were good times.
No update. According to the higher up reps there is nothing that can be done. We created a new profile and Live ID and will make sure the ID is used about once a month I guess.
And as VitaminJ noted, it's the Live ID that expires not the Gamertag.
That's my thread, and in the end we had to create a new Gamertag, associate it with the new Live ID and let the old Gamertag die. You could try emailing Major Nelson and he'll hopefully get your issue taken up with the Executive CS team, but honestly your issue sounds very similar to mine and...
LittleBigPlanet is the only one I've regretted this year. We were so looking forward to it, avoiding the hype so we wouldn't be disappointed if it didn't live up to it. Then came the launch delay that took some of the excitement away, then when we got it the servers weren't up for a few days...
No good endings here. Steve from MS corporate and I finally got hold of each other and there is nothing that can be done. He said he's only heard of the issue once before and promises to bring it up at the next meeting.
The Live ID expired so long ago that they can't go in to untie it from...
Exactly. I only use my Live ID to pay for my Gold access. He never had a need for it so it just sat there. Come time to upgrade to Gold, and the Live ID has been expired. He still uses the Email account that the Live ID was attached to, but it's of our domain not live.com.
When we tried to...
No. He uses it at least once a week, and I'm on my gold account about the same. This wasn't an inactive Gamertag, it was an inactive Live ID that was tied to the Gamertag.
Thanks, but we tried that too. No go. We just get an error that says that Live ID is not associated with the Gamertag. The Xbox support guys say that there is no way to associate them again either.
This 360 experience is starting to get to me. From a RROD, to the inability to play Arcade...
I understand that. The problem lies in the fact that the Gamertag was used at minimum every week. The Live ID expired.
Why tie the two together if one can expire due to inactivity while you're still using the other? Shouldn't one update the status of the other so one doesn't ruin the use of...
My sons Gamertag is from 2005, we set him up on a silver account and created a live ID but never had a need to use it. Now he want's a gold account and has a card for one. We went to enter it in, but kept getting an error saying it couldn't connect. I called Xbox support and they are saying that...
I needed some things from Target today and picked up the last two in my local store. I don't use the points very often so these should last me a good long time. Good deal, Thanks.
It would really depend on how you set it up. I don't think it'll allow you to really sit up straight for a long period and offer any real support. But you may be able to figure out a shape that allows you too. I'm usually pretty slumped into the thing.
Once in a comfortable position it'll...
I have the omni and it's pretty big. Not as big as the pictures on their site make it seem, but still quite large.
I think it could use some more filling though as it seems to have a lot of area that is empty when put into a more chair like posture.
I'm happy with it though, comes in...
I have both, and while I haven't had the PS3 for very long, I prefer racing on the 360. I don't care for simulation type games so the GT series is out. I prefer PGR, and like joemama above, I buy multi-platformers on the 360 because I much prefer the controller.
Correct, it's the blue one, and it is quite dark. Much more so than the Dell site shows. I like it a lot.
I did have a black one though, it just had problems so I sent it back, though the photos are of the blue one.
I got a Toshiba HD-A3 from them way back in October or November for $150 with 10 free HD-DVD movies. During the time when everyone was having sales on the players.
5-6 months later I get an e-mail and a call stating that since the HD-DVD camp folded, and since I bought it from Best Buy...
Resolved at last!
On Psychotexts suggestion I sent Major Nelson an e-mail. A few days later I got an e-mail from Mike at Xbox Escalations stating that he'd be in contact with me in a few days. A day or so later he called and we played phone tag for a few days before finally getting to speak...
My Update: The lady that promised a call back on Monday, hasn't called yet. Yesterday I left her a message, and again today. At this point, my only option is to call her and MS back on a daily, to twice daily period until someone actually fixes the problem.
I can not believe the incompetents...
I'm having the same problem. I got my refurbished xBox back on 12/27 and realized that my arcade games no longer worked. My son is the one who plays them and has his own gamer tag and all that. I purchased them under my account.
When he couldn't play them I called MS. After an hour or so on...
That's true, but the last time I was racing it was on a track. Kind of an automatic reset there. Of course, when you crash in real life you don't just magically pop up all fine and dandy again in a few seconds either. It's an odd line to draw.
I'm ok with the 'no reset' thing though. Like...
On getting lost, earlier I took a short cut and came out somewhere I didn't want to. I turned around and made my way to the finish line, and as I got closer the little red arrows that signify the competition were closing in on the line at the same rate, in the opposite direction. We had a...
I like it. The only things that frustrate me are the lack of local 2 player via a split screen and that I keep getting lost. I wish they used something more than a small map and the street signs to help guide you in a race. I keep getting well into 1st place only to make a bad turn and lose...
I thought it was pretty good. Not enough to do in the demo, and only the one car (that I've found), but solid anyway. I've skipped the last few versions since takedown, and it's missing something, but I'll be buying it.
I never noticed a difference from the bikes in the demo, to the bikes in the full game in TDU. I kept telling myself that it would play better than in the demo, and was really disappointed when it didn't. Learned my lesson there; if the demos bad, so will be the full version.
I like PGR3 better as well. 4 has the better graphics and the weather stuff is really fun, but I don't like the way it handles getting new cars. In 3 I collected cars, in 4 there is nothing to really do after you beat what you want to beat.
What I really miss is from the original Metropolis...
Thanks, and it's pretty much what I thought.
One last question, what happens to my arcade games? When I plug my hdd in will they just work or will I have to re-download them since they attach to the actual console in some way? I remember reading once that if you get a new console but keep...
Hell, After 1.8 or so years, my perfect little 360 did the rrod. I downloaded a demo arcade game and it froze, on re-boot it was red. Called in and they're sending me a box.
Anyone that's done this, what is the away time? They said about a week to get the box, then 3-4 weeks to repair, but...
I just switched back to NetFlix from Blockbuster this month. Regarding their envelopes, BB has a much nicer design.
Netflix's is larger, has a small sticker tab at the top that's usually torn up, and the disc is all the way to one side making the opposite side floppy and harder to handle. On...
Well, I was contacted by a man in the promotion department. He gave me a line about the 3 free deal being only for the full price of $299, but I argued with him about that since on Sunday it said in plain lettering that it was for the $199 price. He said he knew the promotions and that I was...
Damn, I bought it last night when the offer was for only two extra movies. Did in-store pickup on the player and shipped the two movies.
I called them to see about sending me the third movie since they're always talking about price protection and that sort of thing on their ads, and since I...
