For sale is a barely used Acer Aspire One ZG5 with all original accessories plus 1GB SanDisk memory card. I can also include a laptop case but it will be for a 15" laptop.
The netbook came preinstalled with Windows XP Home edition but I formatted and installed Ubuntu Netbook-Remix (which is...
I have a large amount of numbers that I need I need to convert into 3 numbers each and keep the numbers in the same column.
I already have the numbers actually in 3 separate columns, but to insert them into my mysql database, they need to be in the same column.
Pretty much its an ecommerce...
Oh I agree. I just figured I'd report it if it might help. They still put out security updates if they're warranted.
Unfortunately a good portion of people still use IE6. It really annoys me that Microsoft is so horrible at getting people to update their software.
Thanks, I appreciate it. The real site is here: http://marinalife.com. If you check it out in IE6 then you'll notice what needs to be fixed :).
So I found out about the double margin and text-indent bug, threw some hackage in my css and funny enough if I do an IE hack and leave out...

For those that still have IE6, if you could go to that URL and let me know if it causes your browser to become unresponsive, I'd really appreciate it.
I think I might have found a bug evidently. It could just be the IETester program I am using though.
I guess I should have stated this before hand, I am not a fan of Thunderbird. At one point it was pretty good because it had potential, but at this point, even Mozilla realized it wasn't going in the right direction and Thunderbird 3 is in the works as, if I remember correctly, a total rebuild.
The plural usage for software is software. "Software's" is incorrect.
Sorry to be a grammar cop but it's driving me nuts.
A power seller on eBay in no way means the software is legit. The best way to check is to call up the software developer and ask.
Anybody else having this problem? I've tried setting up all kinds of rules, ensured my preferences and settings are correct, etc. and I still can't get junk mail to be automatically deleted. Actually it doesn't even go into the junk mail folder.
While I'm at it, any recommendation on a better...
A mac is a PC. Installing Windows on your Mac is just like installing Windows on any other PC except Apple has bootcamp to allow for easier dual-booting plus it includes all of the necessary drivers.
The point? The games will perform as good as your hardware is, just like a PC.

This grabs the data from a mysql database and throws out this page.
Printing this out obviously leaves a whole bunch of empty space on a page. What I really want to do is have it generate a sheet like this...
I use a 15.4" MacBook Pro with a VM loaded with Windows Vista pretty constantly.. while I have Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Entourage, and Firefox, at the least, open. Usually I also have iTunes, Adium, Illustrator and Cyberduck open. Sometimes Safari too. Personally I feel it's better to keep the...
I think you misread what I said. I said I tried all of the simple, obvious stuff first. There's no dust in the computer sound inputs nor my iPhone. There's also no dust in the sound adapter.
Yea, that's what I'm thinking of doing now that the straight 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter hasn't worked out.
Oh trust me, I've tried out all of the simple shit first.
Did that, I don't know if it's a bad adapter or what, but the audio is all screwy with it. Any mono sound is fine so I'm guessing it's just a mono adapter and that's all they had at the one near me. I even tested it out on my iPhone and the audio was screwed up. The lyrics sounded like they were...
I have two studio monitors that use 1/4" cables. What is the cheapest solution to getting these guys hooked up to my computer? Previously I was using a M-Audio Delta series box but I need to take that to my studio to use while a buddy takes the main studio set up down to Florida for school.
I...
My bosses laptop was missing all day yesterday and some how today miraculously appeared.
Without having any tracking software, what are some ways that I could go about checking to see what documents were opened, emails read, etc?
Thanks guys.
It's a subjective though. I think it looks good but Blu-Ray is of course better. It really depends on how picky you are and/or how much money you are willing to spend.
I have the Alto and love it. It's very portable also as I constantly take my laptop to and from my different offices/workplaces. The USB hub definitely comes in handy.
I recently acquired a Windows Server 2003 VPS at HostMySite.com. It's been a great experience so far but my account only includes a SmarterMail license for one domain when I need to manage email for another domain or two.
I've been looking around at all of the different servers for a couple...
I haven't heard of anything yet. I just figured iTunes was that slow because it had to be. Keep us updated if you find a better solution. I don't really grab my music from the iTunes store myself.
The MacBook and 20" iMac are out the window when it comes to any design work right off the bat. They both have displays that are of lesser quality and can really inhibit you when it comes to such work (display less color, brightness level isn't good, black's aren't as black).
As has been...
I'd have to say I'm actually impressed with the reception on my iPhone 3G. I had Cingular years ago and while I know the technology has improved, it was still surprising to hear the audio quality that the iPhone gave me. It is by far the best cell phone I've used as far as that goes. Signal...
Haha. There's always a reason. I work at a company that, among other things, repairs broken phones. 99% of the people come in saying the phone broke out of no where or "for no reason."
The MacBook Pro is extremely portable for it's size. With a 15.4" widescreen, it is the thinnest and lightest laptop I've had the pleasure of experiencing.
Crappy screen quality and keyboard take MacBook right off the list of options in my opinion.
I'd have to say I'd just throw *cough*OS X*cough* on your *cough*PC*cough* to try out rather than spending hard earned money on something that isn't really going to give you a proper idea of what you're thinking of getting yourself into.
If I were an avid Windows user trying to get an OS X...
I was thinking we could get a thread going that has a whole bunch of good Apple related web sites.
I typically go to appleinsider.com, macrumors.com, and macnn.com too.
Personally I was hoping to find out some good sites for new and cool applications. I've found coolosxapps.net but it...
I've been using a refurb iPod Video 30GB for a good 2 years now. Never had one problem and it takes some abuse. I use it primarily when I am mowing lawns and in my car.
I found a good tutorial.
I figure I'll post it here for other people that might need help with this as it wasn't exactly easy finding it on Google.

This button for instance. I'd like to just make it so I can throw text inside rather than keep making more and more images. So obviously the left and right side (or the corners at least) would have to stay their current size and the middle would have to be stretchable.
I've done some light...
