Interesting it runs cooler with less power. Thanks I have been doing onther things with my pc in the past few yrs, so any of the titles I have, will likely make the gpu "yawn" as I crank up settings to ultra/1440/60hz (only a 60hz monitor right now)

I did expect the 6800 to be huge and I purchased a case that would fit. Bestbuy said they had one of each, but then they did not in reality. So, Amazon was my option. Good to know about Asrock. I kinda figured they cut some corners somewhere. Would you buy an Asrock again???

In my slow upgrade process after my 9 yr old gpu died, I went with the video card and case first. I'm assuming I will have cpu bottleneck until I upgrade further. With the bottleneck, will the 6800 perform any better than the 6750XT???? Does the AsRock have better fans, caps and other...

I keep reading horror stories about the Securom DRM. I like my system kept as clean as possible. Is the hysteria overblown or should I just pass on EA games. I looked on Steam and it still says there is 3rd party securom on it.

In retrospec as I'm playing around with SS3 again, I do find it easier than SS1. There's less, "oh crap, out of that ammo" times for me. I have spent a lot of time using the assault rifle (zoomed as needed) for much of it this time.

That did work, but you had to go looking for them half the time if you wanted to kill them all. Sometimes they looked like roof or wall decorations from a distance.

I sure have. It was not pretty. I had to use a lot of the unlimited ammo boxes with rockets and c4. I blew myself up more than once with the c4. I also think I spent more time running backwards than forward. I think I did it in double the estimated time:eek:

I would like to say I've come close before I got to the boss, but no cigar for me..........It's tough with your ammo limitations.

For those who hate these client............... If it means better games, more games for PC, are you in?

I ran mine on "serious." The "mental" is just annoying IMHO. The whole flashing in and out of invisibility wasn't for me. I was hoping they dumped that and made that difficulty with 50% more baddies and the same ammo. I loved the game and I'm going to play it again on the "serious" level...
