man i've tried what feels like everything and this is getting kind of ridiculous. I mean i tried 6 different bios and none of them do anything.

so i'm trying to oc my ram which has a default voltage of 1.35v but everytime I turn off the computer and turn it on the voltage gets reset to 1.5v. In the settings it is still set to 1.35 but it shows as 1.5. Anybody else have this problem? I googled and did not see this result anywhere

man this is annoying. Just turned off my computer and turned it on and AGAIN the dram voltage reset to 1.5 instead of the 1.35 I want for the ram (which is stock at 1.35)

anybody else having the problem of the bios not saving the last saved settings? last night i saved the ram settings, and this morning the voltage was changed. So i re-saved it, did some testing, then turned it off. 1 hour later i turned it on and the voltage was changed again

how many runs of linx and IBT are considered "stable"? Also, linx tests mostly cpu while IBT tests cpu/ram?

i will have to check on the mobo (gigabyte z77 ud5h). I ran linx for 20 runs and got 89 GFlops using 11/11/11/28 1600 @ 1.5 and it was fine. I guess its time to fine tune

for some reason I cant get the ram to register at 1.35v (which is its stock voltage at 1600 11/11/11/28) through the bios

so I should set my ram to stock? Is that just for the burn test? (ie if it passes then i can change the ram again?) I ask because stock the ram is 11/11/11/28 1600 @ 1.35v (samsung 30nm)

i just ran linx and the Gflops is 58ish.....seems low? and yes i have sp1 installed

although i noticed on the ram that i set it on the bios to 1.35v (9/9/9/24/1 @ 1866) but it shows at 1.5v on cpu-z and easytune

I ran memtest on each stick of ram individually for 3 hours each, and then all 4 (16gb) last night for 18 hours and no errors

according to cpu-z and easy tune core voltage jumps from .948 to 1.02

so my stock i7 3770k fails the intel burn test sometimes. I am stock with a super mega cooler and dual ap-15's. Temps never get higher than 63 on the highest temp core and 58 on the lowest temp core. Any ideas?

ok so if it passes for several hours with all 4 then i dont have to test them individually? thats only if something is wrong?

it passed fine with all 4 in but i read memtest only really works individually? I ask because the first ram slot is a pain to get to

or can I just test all 4 sticks at once.

what ram timings are people getting using this combo?

i use one of those wrist bands that has a connector on the end that i crimp onto the psu, although in all honesty this is overkill, unless you plan on building ure computer on carpet that is prone to static, and even then you most likely wont have an issue.
