maybe your power supply isnt powerful enough? I have heard at 130 posts you should have at least a 420w or higher for best stability. You could always try the tribute to MS and reinstall everything. Maybe try reseating some cards... keep us updated.
the heatsink thats on it is the Zalman ZM80C-HP and it has that optional quiet fan. So you could just get that exact one as it seems people like it better than the Giant. Should be simple to make support, I read som1 on here put two slot covers back to back to make a " T " and it was perfect...
looks like the vantec, and I doubt he would disc the stock fan since it wouldnt hurt anything being on.
here is one here http://www.heatsinkstore.com/spectrumfancard.html
you could do what this guy did if you dont want to change the hsf. he removed the plastic and put one of those dual fancards under it. cornelious0_0's post

I tried the ATI 4.2s but they seem to have an issue with the hauppauge card I have as it will not be recognized with them. Soo i tried the omega 4.2's and then the hauppauge card was not bothered. I have had no troubles with them and here is my 3dmark03 link if it works: 6177...
you will not be able to play consoles in real time with the 250/350 cards that have the on board MPEG2 encoders. the few seconds delay will be there as it passes through the card. So it doesnt sound like they will work for you if you want to play games through it.
I use one to record shows...
I have the same 420w with dual blue fans and its powering everything in the sig + 2 120mm, 4 80mm, 2 HDcooler fans. I do not know what it means if the fans lights go out. I guess the fans are still running? maybe something happened to the connection that powered the LED's. You could try...
did you try disconnecting everything from the mobo/power supply but the vid card to see if it will show any output? you could do that and if it still doesnt work reset your cmos and try again. Just gotta go through process of elimination to weed it down to somthing specific in your system since...
I had an Amiga 500 68000 cpu @ 7mhz. I added an adspeed piggybacked chip to the cpu with a toggle switch to bump it to 14mhz. weeeee also there was a jumper mod to move 512K of ram to chip ram(for video) which enabled higher resolutions...in 1990
no prob dude. I liked all your info (old box) you provided on the issue at hand =-] can you try the card in another system or try booting in your current one with just the mobo plugged in to see if your other accessories are milking the power a bit too much? I have read that you should not put...
I just got my 9800pro today, it replaced a ti4400. 3dm03 went from 1586 to 6177, aquamark 18956 to 38096. BF1942 plays silky smooth now with all the goodies. I am quite happy so far and have only tried the new 4.2's
Newegg shows they have a "one day" sale going on for the 9800pro $219

i went ahead and ordered one of em.
I used the 53's but bf1942 would have issues and once you quit the game I had to reset in order for it to run again. (would get D3D device failed- out of memory error) I tried reinstalling both bf and the 53's again and even D3d but it was the same issues. I gave the 40.72's a try and...
