Does empty space on an hdd effect the operation of a sdd in the same system?

There are two obvious solutions to your predicament.

After I read your post I tried to place my online order at the Denver MC again. IE9 didn't work. FF12 still didn't work. But when I tried Chrome (for the 1st time) the order was accepted. I guess the MC website is picky out which browser is used to place an order.

The MC email doesn't seem to really mean much. The 3570k is out of stock at every MC. They're just using the email to get people foaming at the mouth to get their hands on one. Oh well, what would you expect? Maybe they'll have them actually in stock in a few days.

How many different sound cards did try out? And what sound cards did you try out? I was having problems with my Creative x-fi card making my system crash before I installed sp1. I switched to an Asus Xonar DX and haven't had any problems since then (before sp1 or with sp1).

AVG says that your bottom link is loaded with bad stuff. It killed about 10 files in that link. Actually it's a link that shows up in the notification email, but not in your post. The [H]ardforum security software must have caught it too. Way to go.

I had to try four times with the update process before I finally got a successful install. I kept getting error 8007000E, whatever that means. I never had any problems installing XP sp's, so I guess MS still has some kinks to work out of 7.

I was just wondering if anyone here has noticed that Corsair now offers an HS1A model headset. The "A" model is the "analog version of the HS1 and uses a standard 3.5mm audio jack". Just thought I'd mention it.

If I understand the situation correctly, I don't believe that the "k" models have IGP. The 2500 and 2600 (without the k) have IGP. That's probably what you meant anyway.

Your house would have to be isolated out in the country so that when you come home late you don't wake all the neighbors. Someone will have to come up with a noise suppressor for jetpacks so that they can be used where the residents need a good night's sleep.
