I own this monitor and here is what I have found to produce acceptable colors. Setting it to the Picture mode, reducing the Sharpness and reducing the brightness. The colors are acceptable to me in this setting. Obviously sharpness has nothing to do with color but it reduces the ridiculous...

This would allow me to give my disabled Uncle my Galaxy GTX570 to replace the card in his surprise PC I built him using an old GTX260 all while giving me an ugprade!

This would make a phenomenal upgrade over the GTX260 I just bought for my disabled uncle who has yet to experience Battlefield 3. I built him a new system as a surprise for Xmas!

Bump for you. I currently have a D420 as my "netbook". I remember when they were called sub-notebooks before the netbook term. I have mine with 2g of memory and it runs great. Surf youtube and the like. The 9 cell is awesome to makes for some really extended surf time.

current pc specs are an opty 165 single gig of ddr400 and a radeon x1950 pro 256mb so not great but not to shabby. Just cant run any new games fluidly edit: also why the 9650 over the 9600 and as far as budget looking to drop around $500
