If the green/pink ports are 1/8, then yes, I do -- but that's not the point. I'm assuming the onboard sound card is junk compared to the USB one.

I can't be bothered installing a sound card (or dealing with any hardware, to be honest) -- my computer is basically in pieces as it is, seriously. I plan to get rid of it and get a laptop before I head off to school, so I'd rather have something that's not dependent on a sound card.

Because the only sound card I have is onboard.

Did that all months ago when I was dealing w/ random restarts b/c of the RAM. I guess I'll do that again.. What is prime95? I used memtest to tell me that one stick of RAM was bad.
