I have a pair of matching low-end duals that I haven't touched in a year and are collecting dust. They're hardly useful at all now except to power a couple of GPU clients or some classic clients.

I got it in late '08 but didn't get it up and running until January '09. I have six S-771 systems including the Skulltrail.

Those numbers are pretty scary indeed. It's a lot of science for sure and we can use the competition from lower ranked teams to get us more motivated. Although I've seen people hit above the 1M mark before, I don't recall anyone producing this much. :cool:

I totally agree and to think this project has been in operation for a decade... In any case, one possible reason F@H may not have implemented an abort feature is because it could be abused for the reassignment of more productive WUs, but that opens up a huge other argument about the flawed...

If he's a new folder he may not be aware of the ramifications. Many long term folders don't even know the reasons why it's not good for the research to terminate WUs before completion. Another possibility is that his work may have required him to shut down these systems within a prescribed...

The only cards that do relatively well with these core11 WUs are the GT200 architecture cards. What happened to the core15 WUs?

Yes and you could be right, I just don't have the foggiest. If it's indeed the architecture, it speaks of something very bizarre going on. I only have one Fermi GPU client. Task Manager was indicating approximately 4-5% CPU usage, yet the -bigadv WU this system was processing jumped over 15...

From what I've heard it is quite the norm. I think the usually expected failure rate is just above 10% or thereabouts. CMIIR.

They're great if you don't mind there's no science being worked on and don't have any CPU clients running on the same machine. These WUs hit my -bigadv client so hard that I had no choice but to shut down the GPU client for a couple of days, otherwise the SMP WU may not have made the bonus...
