I wouldn't mind having the units to try and scavenge cheap bluetooth transmitters from. Or even take the force sensor out and put a different sensor on it to log other things.
I put some of those Shockwatch stickers on my hard-case luggage when flying across the US. They were tripped up to...
The Logitech G13 gamepad stores the settings on the actual device, Razer couldn't think of that? Also, the drivers have an option to auto-update without requiring an account anywhere.
I'm sick of having to make an account everywhere. It's bad enough I need to sign up for multiple accounts just...
Want to keep the cattle at Wal-Mart from crushing each other over a pallet of video games? Drag the pallet behind a forklift. Hilarity for all and the cattle get some exercise.
I don't know when the last time was when I bought a game, installed it, and it just worked. (Minus some Steam predownload headaches.) It's like older GTA with comedy, but with modern GTA graphics and *$#@! proper car camera control. Being able to headshot everyone is icing on the cake.
Even...
I'll wait to see if they have the option to change the car camera to properly follow you a la GTA:SA. I love the franchise, but staring at the wall after turning a corner ticked me off to no end.
It's unfortunate that you're not going to get your feet wet in programming on something more modern, but VB6 will teach you the basics (control loops, strings, arrays, conditionals, etc...) If you're going towards networking you'll probably be doing VBS, which looked a lot like VB5 the last time...
a) That picture is awesome.
b) People are talking about driving faster and superchargers (I have one too, the whine is addicting)... we have speed cameras around here with signs X amount of feet before them. If you've ever driven near them you'll know that traffic slows to about 10-15 MPH...
I used to go down to the computer surplus store and buy stacks of keyboards. If I nerdraged, I'd pick up the keyboard and bash it over the back of the chair. Keys flying everywhere. Then I'd pick up another off the stack, plug it in, and keep going.
Don't judge me, monkey.
We're in a country of double standards. If Muslim extremists somehow represent all Muslims, shouldn't Christian semi-extremists represent all Christians?
Either way, Steve Jobs did more in his lifetime (good *or* bad) than most of us ever will. I give respect for that.
I haven't tested it personally, but I would say no. Using a Spyder 3 on just my monitors (two different brands/3 monitors) had the brightness value in two totally different places. Calibrating to 120 cd/m2, my Asus had a brightness value of 2 (yes, 2) on the on-screen display, where my Acer...
Same thing in industrial automation. When the machine reaches its throughput goal, the design/mechanical engineers pat themselves on the back, but when the machine faults it's a programming error. For a PLC that's been running the same program for 3 years.
200 tabs? Leaving the browser open for days? You guys have some ODD usage patterns.
I'm still using FF3.whatever, and I'm at 271 megs usage (105 from the plugin container alone.) I write software that has to be up for months at a time (Industrial Automation). I couldn't imagine trying to have...
IMHO, these are photos you probably won't be able to replace. It's not like you're taking architectural photos of a building in a city you live in. I'd go will full RAW, if anything so you can crop them down if you need to. $55 isn't a hell of a lot of money in the photography hobby. :)
I use...
Down in Tucson, a small wall of dust preceded the storm yesterday (50-70 mph wind gusts), but what happened in Phoenix looks like a Seasons in the Abyss video by Slayer.
It's cool for those of us living where it's legal to buy (lamer) fireworks, but it's illegal to light them. (Arizona.)
I like the pretty colors on the labels as they sit in this box. :(
Since you're making the comparison, which listed foreign country's policy do you suggest we adopt?
12 years hard labor - Immigrants built sections of the border fence, they're out in 100+ degree heat in agriculture fields. Not hard labor, but not far off. Would you prefer to have that job...
One again Arizona makes news for something positive! :p
The least they could've released was the state economics. I'd love to know where my tax money is going since it requires 4 wheel drive *in* town.
It all depends on what you're shooting. I do a lot of shooting at night (ISO 3200 territory) so I needed the extra speed of f2.8. (Auto racing is typically at night here due to the Arizona heat for instance.)
Before I had this lens, I used the EFS 55-250 f4-5.6. I had great results with it...
I have the Mk 2 version and it's a bit heavy. I can carry it around for a couple hours, but my wrist lets me know that I've been holding up a big lens.
The attention you draw with that lens & the included lens hood is ridiculous.
I don't know what the people who created that site look like, but it reminds me of the two guys who started Studio 54 (the original.)
If "beautiful people" won't give you the time of day, create an exclusive place for them. Then the tables turn.
I don't care as long as those chicks give it to me.
At my local McD's, everyone behind the counter is AT LEAST 200 lbs+ each. But at the Carl's Jr (Hardees) around here, everyone behind the counter speaks Spanish so it might be regional.
Thanks for the suggestions. I might have to pick up an Eye One eventually. I have monitor saturation turned down a bit in Photoshop so I can get by for now.
When I'm out on the street I get all kinds of reactions, but nobody has ever confronted me.
If someone gives me a look for snapping their pic, I just look past them like I'm shooting something else and put the camera back up to my face.
This is about the worst I've had so far, and it's...
I got sick of having my prints come out nothing like they were shown in Photoshop. (What did I expect from three 6-bit TN gaming panels?) I broke down and picked up an Asus PA246 monitor today, and ignoring the one dead red pixel (grr) it is *so* much better at color. I set the monitor itself...
I am now taking 20 minutes to explain to my co-workers why I'm laughing so hard at the words "Potato-American." Thanks. :D
If parents are going to be *that* protective about their children, shouldn't they play the game through first by themselves to judge the content?
