The Bitspower Mini water tank has inlet/outlet on the same side. I'm using 3/8 comp fittings no prob. Only downside is you HAVE to use the sponge it comes with. Mine has been running almost non-stop in my media center for about a year.

I have probes @ GPU and CPU connected to a pair of custom mounted CompuNurses. Motherboard will shut down computer at 60C. While I know 60C isn't damaging to the CPU it would certainly be indicative of a problem in my loop.

A standard 40 pin SCSI cable or an IDE cable without the pin blanks will work fine. The one in the box wasn't long enough to make it to my top bay, so I'm using a SCSI cable.

You can also get a 90 deg angle pin header and replace the one on your mobo. You could use the same thing to tilt the floppy connector, though you'd lose the plastic surround.

Yeah, from what I can see, those are the only two that are wrong. The NC/+5V mismatch isn't really even a mismatch because the NC pin will be dead and doesn't go anywhere. The second ground wire and the +5V line haven't been populated on the 5 cases or so I've worked on that had front audio...

it looks like they only switched the position of the +5 line, which i've never used, and flipped it upside down. mic bias=mic pwr, you only need to use the ground next to the mic pin. i think it should still work as long as the cable doesn't have the second ground wire populated.

A side window is also practical if you're not running any nanny software to monitor your fans and such. It's comforting to look off to the side and see everything spinning merrily along. You can also see when a cleaning is a bit overdue :)
