What Effect Has the Internet Had On Our Sex Lives?

I imagine it depends on what flavor of porn you're into.I can't imagine too many girls who would be impressed with several hours (days?) worth of Bukkake videos.

    Stunning HDR Images

I recently dusted off my old Canon 10D and took a few pictures with HDR in mind. It was rather refreshing not having to worry about perfect light and split density filters or tinkering with a contrast mask. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Canon 10D, 17-40 f4L @ f16 1/15, bracketed in RAW...

    World’s Sexiest Hacker?

Articles say she and her fem compatriots were money mules. It's been some years since anyone considered me a "hacker", but I don't think opening bank accounts to receive stolen loot a hacker makes. It's like calling Michael Schumacher's tire guy a champion F1 driver. Bit of a stretch really...

    Cool BioShock Submerged PC

djuniah: Hey, I thought you made a pretty clean job of it. Alot of submerged PCs tend to look a bit kludged together, but yours looks good. I especially like the aerator instead of active fans. Lots better than the one I built in a tupperware bowl :)

    Watercooling newbie needs suggestions

Heatkiller LT blocks, a soft mounted laing D5, a 120.3 low air flow radiator (Thermochill, Black Ice SR1, Feser, XSPC RX), and a mess of Scythe 1400rpm Gentle Typhoons on a fan controller should do the trick. Put it all in the Corsair 800D case and little to no cutting is required. I haven't...

    Pump Tops

The Bitspower Mini water tank has inlet/outlet on the same side. I'm using 3/8 comp fittings no prob. Only downside is you HAVE to use the sponge it comes with. Mine has been running almost non-stop in my media center for about a year.

Can I use any reference 5870 Waterblock with this card???

From the pics I found on Google it looks like the board is a reference design with a custom cooler. You should be ok with a reference design block.

    Looking for the Aragon 900

That appears to be a D-Tek kit. That's a D-Tek Fuzion block, a D-Tek 240 slim rad, a Laing DDC, and a Bitspower Watertank Z. About the only thing that's unique to that kit is the rad stands, which would be easier/better to make yourself. I looked around a bit, and it is definately nowhere to...

    Are swiftech's radiator/pumps any good?

Re: Your cd/dvd drive... How about using esata? If your board doesn't support it you can always get a slot solution and run it from a regular sata port. You can get a cable that integrates power into a neat bundle...

    Are swiftech's radiator/pumps any good?

Enzotech makes some nice mosfet heatsinks for many popular motherboards, and they're inexpensive. WC the mosfets is a beautiful extravagance which I endorse, but cannot bring myself to actually purchase. I'm running a GTS 120.2 and a QP320 in serial. This is my first Swiftech rad, and while the...

Supernanny Takes on Violent Video Games

I have to agree to a certain extent. Spend a couple of hours playing Dirt2 or something like that and then go out for a drive. I have a tendency to drive like a lunatic for a bit. Conversely.. after watching a football game on TV, I want to fire up some Madden. However, after 40 hours of...

    Project: Hustle (SFF+H2O)

+1 for the ApogeeDrive...I had one cooling a D805 and a 7950GT/Maze4 with a single BIX120. Temps were 38/35 idle - 48/40 load. g/l with project...watercooling an SFF is always an interesting challenge.

    Final Preperation

I used the Depot pvc tubing for awhile in my first WC build, and while it's cheap, it's very stiff and a pain in the butt to use. I picked up 15 feet of sexy red Primochill 1/2" tubing for $1 a foot and it is a joy to use. The company I got it from went out of business, but jab-tech has it for...

    Very general questions..

I have probes @ GPU and CPU connected to a pair of custom mounted CompuNurses. Motherboard will shut down computer at 60C. While I know 60C isn't damaging to the CPU it would certainly be indicative of a problem in my loop.

Vidabox HTPC Keyboard @ [H] Consumer

I bought one of these branded Auravision from WalMart for my livingroom media/file/game server. ($45) I'm not sure who actually makes it, but they're identical. Like Josh, my keyboard worked great, but the trackball is a piece of crap :) It's a shame they made such a potentially nice product...

Stacker 810: Audio I/O panel connection has changed for the worse

Yeah, from what I can see, those are the only two that are wrong. The NC/+5V mismatch isn't really even a mismatch because the NC pin will be dead and doesn't go anywhere. The second ground wire and the +5V line haven't been populated on the 5 cases or so I've worked on that had front audio...

Stacker 810: Audio I/O panel connection has changed for the worse

it looks like they only switched the position of the +5 line, which i've never used, and flipped it upside down. mic bias=mic pwr, you only need to use the ground next to the mic pin. i think it should still work as long as the cable doesn't have the second ground wire populated.

Where To Buy a Sheet of Aluminum?

I buy almost all of my modding metals at an electronics/enterprise salvage store. Just this week I bought a 15"x15"x3/16" piece of brushed aluminum for $5. I also picked up a pair of 20"x20" sheets of modders mesh (same as the stuff you get from mnpctech) for $4 each. The only danger with...
