when I bought my first 4k tv it had motion interpolation on by default. I almost returned the TV because video on it was so horrible to watch.
Watching movies on plex, youtube, netflix, all looked jumpy and laggy. Luckily for Samsung, I googled it, and turned off the setting for it. Had to do...
Ah this takes me back to my teen years.
Playing Action Half Life, Science and Industries, Team Fortress, Red Orchestra, and CS beta, all through high school.
I bought a 1080 when they came out because I wanted to go to 4k and I was still on 680 classified SLI.
I then upgraded to the 1080ti when it came out with microcenters warranty.
Definitely skipping rtx2080's. The price point is way crazy for the performance increase and as the video narrator...
and the sheep will just keep buying their products.
IF you don't think they don't have entire design teams creating their products, and this was intentional, then you'd be wrong.
I sit about 3 feet from my 40". I wouldn't' want anything bigger that's for sure. Great perceived viewing area coverage from this distance.
I looked at the 42" 4K Korean displays(Wasabi Mango, etc) before choosing the Samsung because 40" was the perfect size and I got it from Best Buy so...
Yup. I'm gaming on a budget display, Samsung k40" 4K ku6300. It's a very good display for $350.
While I have wanted to step up to a 120+ Hz display, there is no way I would trade off 12+ inches for 60+hz.
40" 4K is way to awesome to ever go back to 27" or even 30" for that matter.
I'm already over 1440p, even though my rig can easily handle 1440p at 3 years old, I'm just going to wait and get a 40" 4k 60hz display. There are already ips models under $800.
must....resist...buying...EA.....games.....they are always money grabs and disappointing in the long run. Every map will be paid DLC making the game cost $100+ after a year of owning it, just to have 8 or 9 maps to play on.
hope DICE brings back 64 vs 64, that map looks huge. But I just don't see it happening, and I REALLY don't understand why.... PC's were handling 128 player servers 10 freaking years ago.
