I think that's going to depend on the difficulty. The art style and music definitely set the mood, and the game itself feels like a mix between an adventure game and a party based RPG. There's not many games to compare it against but I'm getting an old school vibe from it. I like it so far.

Yes, updating the AD&D rules alone made for more fun games like NWN and ToEE (which was really shallow otherwise). And combat in DA was just a joy.
