Just got my replacement and it's almost identical to the first. Do the majority of these lcd's have lot more backlight bleed in the lower right hand corner?
Should I upgrade my Dell 2405fpw to 2209WA?
Has anyone done this? Is it worth it?
I would lose the resolution - but my 2405fpw is getting old and is in need of an upgrade. I ruled out u2410 cause of the grainy screen. I'm looking for something more energy efficient.
I might even do 2...
Which one is faster? The notebook supports ddr3 1333. Does the slow timings of ddr3 1333 make it worse?

I don't know if it's noticeable in these pics but the right side of the monitor is def. darker than the left. Which is a problem my other monitor does not have. It's a big enough issue that I prob. will return it.
FIXED THE PROBLEM.
Found this on another board. WOOT
1) Download the XP 5.11 driver
2) Extract the driver (don't use the installer as it won't work in vista)
3) Manually direct Vista driver update to use the GART driver
4) Reboot
5) It works
i'm using the one's that came with vista also. I am running shuttle xpc sn95g5. Not sure if that means anything. I tried changing the agp in bios and it does nothing.:(
Seriously i'm probably going to dump this machine with a santa rosa laptop.
The external drive is not newer than the internal one. Internal i have seagate 7900.10, external wd 320gig.
So if I get firewire 800 or a pci esata card it would solve the problem?
When using aero scrolling on browser or any window is laggy. When using vista basic color scheme it is fine. I am running shuttle xpc sn95g5 - nforce 3 board.
I have a experience index score of 5.1
Why does a computer with a experience index score of well below what I have - not have this...
I have a dual core also. It's wierd. I meant pci. I have nforce 3 mb.
I hope that fixes it. Or else I have to try firewire 800. Since firewire 400 runs very good and doesn't slow down comp.
yes it happens with other sata drive and other enclosure.
I'm using vista i have enable write caching on the disk enabled.
I ordered a pci sata card - let's see if that fixes it. I can use that instead of the bracket that hooked up internally to my sata.
Maybe my computer doesn't...
