Well...there is also a difference between a purchased video card and then buying the next step above when it is totally unecessary.
But...hell, if I could afford it...maybe 100x over...I'd probably do the same thing.
Well...until then, I'll believe it when I see it.
What they need to do is get BF1942 out. I have it for PC, but the live experience is much more intense and cooperative.
well...basically it it set up to be easier -- however painful it is -- to pay for live subscriptions along with downloadable content that may cost money in the future.
What will happen is you will have a start kit that is good for 12 months....after 12 months MS will charge your account again...
Hey, Deepfreeze....do you realize that you are 1 of millions?
Okay then.
Now that we have that settled. There are going to be many console failures across the board. Your argument that Xbox is less stable than the rest is flawed.
Anyway, get what has the games you want. Your wife and...
if you can afford to buy a 500 dollar video card while you have a 300-400 dollar video card installed in your computer....then you can afford to go out and buy HL2 if and when it is released
Or you can go to www.ibuypower.com and get a laptop with better specs -- probably weighs more -- but about a grand cheaper and get a step higher vid card.
I want to play Xcom: Terror from the deep, but my computer is too advanced to play it.
Or is it? Is there a way to play old games like terror from the deep on a xp system with a 32mb vid card? (this is a laptop btw)
Might I recommend www.ibuypower.com
I decked out a laptop they had with:
1.7ghz P-M
1gig of pc2700 ddr
9700 vid card
and MORE
I didn't click add to cart, but it came out to below 2grand before shipping and tax

Well, honestly the only thing you need to consider is where you will use it.
Personally, my laptop isn't ever used without it being plugged in and it gets 3times the battery life.
You want to do some serious gaming outside of the house. I don't see this thing being a problem if you can...
Definitely a great laptop.
I have had mine since September. I bought it refurbished with a 3year w/ complete care for 1600shipped.
1.3ghz P-M
512 ddr
32mb 9000 ati mobility vid card
cdrw/dvd combo drive
30gb HD
xp home
Not bad I suppose. I saved about 300-400 bucks I think at...
I'd say you didn't get hooked up at all.
If it is included in the tuition(how much was it)
If it is something like 400....GREAT!! :), but if it is something like 1000 or something...I'd have done without and gone for my own laptop purchase.
Well Sir, I have no clue what I want.
I know that I have a budge of $500.
I do know that I want Digital though so that I can transfer it to my computer and later on to DVD.
My main purpose is to capture video of my grandparents. My Pa just got Prostate Cancer, and I have realized...
I'm in the market for a camcorder and I don't want to go overboard in price. The most I want to spend is $500.
Do any of you folks have experience with camcorders that could afford me some ensite on what I may want to purchase?
the 14 buttons you have there are assigned to what your keyboards buttons are.
tab - Q - W - E - R
caps lock - a - s - d - f
shift - z - x - c
the thumb button is your space bar
the scroll is...well the scroll.
the directional pad is for gaming -- not sure what its function is outside...
It's, quite simply, THE SHIT!!!!
It kicks ass. I got it for about 33 shipped from Dell.com
You can probably find it for about 25 shipped if you look around.
I like it. My gaming rig is (shudder) a laptop. The laptop keyboard for gaming is, quite simply, NOT THE SHIT!!!
So, for...
jesus, ibm got a F?
how the hell did that work out?
I was seriously looking for dell to get lowest on the totem poll since they seem to get the rep of having worst tech support.......yet they scored higher than 2 other brands -- which are held higher in rating among members of this forum...
Well, I have a 600m -- not the best battery life, but other than that it is great.
You can get an optional battery for it too.
It gets about 3 hours of normal use.
2.5 hours DVD and about the same when gaming.
I was going to suggest the Gateway x200 but that thing doesn't even get...
What about KOTOR?
I believe that sells for about 30 now.
Yes, yes it does. http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/220997.asp
That is a game you will play for hours upon hours.
Actually, no I don't. My PC Case would be tucked away in a cabinet with a door. Why? Because that is the kind of Computer desk I have. Also, my current desktop is about 3 years old and isn't even used anymore.
My Laptop is a 600m -- I'd hardly say it is pretty.
Now, I wasn't dogging...
