A word of warning. There is a little round sticker on the fan. Mine came loose and jammed the fan and luckily no damage was done since I caught it in time. I recommend peeling the sticker off the fan.

Glad I cancelled and went for the BB deal. Been enjoying the BFG for a week now. I think MSI really screwed Dell with this deal.

I did. I am now a proud owner of a BFG card. With the %10 coupon I paid $227 total (after taxes). So long Dell.

I am about to go to BB near me. They have the BFG 8800GT in stock for $237. If I can get the %10 coupon deal I am coming back home with a card and cancelling Dell.

I haven't talked to Dell myself, but as much as I have read on this and other forms, the ship date might be 12/12. *Crossing fingers*

I agree, good to know about these laws. If I don't get my card next week Dell and I are going to have words.

You recieved a different card. People here got the MSI for the $207 deal.

It will cost at least $350. Besides, people on this thread paid $207 for the 8800GT. Big price difference for little performance gain.

Is it just me or the Dell support site is down?

After chatting with Dell I was told that my order was changed to 12/12/2007 (my status says 12/10/2007). This is starting to smell like a stinker. If I find a card in the next few days for a decent price I may ditch this deal.

Not much improvement over the 8800GT, only a few frames here and there. Makes 8800GT a better choice for the price (especially if you can find it at around $200).

DX10.1 is currently useless and not used in any games that you are going to play this year so who freaking cares?

Got mine for $300 and was amazed by the colors and brightness for the price. Runs great out of the box. No ghosting in gaming and movies. I won't buy another monitor until (hopefully) LCDs go to 120HZ like the HDTVs.

Try different RGB callibration settings, you can get pretty nice blacks.

Well, I would call this a marketing stunt myself, but I've seen the difference in smoothness and fluidity and it's pretty impressive. It would be great to have that smoothness in shooters.

That could be a driver or video card issue... what's you specs?

I love mine. Games look great and no ghosting or other problems. Great monitor for the price. :)
