Good grief. I'm astounded you didn't call them. Everyone should know by now that even when dealing with the best companies when you're having a problem never rely on email alone (or at all except as a followup measure). Calling them is by far the best approach.
I'm glad you've finally...
I'm not sure what that would be at RIT, but I'm guessing it is the darkside. Canon has slowly but surely taken over I think. Either way, the D70 is the brightest product coming out of the dark side right now.
Have fun with it though, it's a fantastic camera. I just got my DSLR a few weeks ago.
Nono, in this case bucketface is right. The Sony is... a Sony and that's more than needs to be said about it. In digital camera world they have about the worst record.
I don't disagree with that at all. That doesn't mean I would find a G4 system something worth sinking any money in to in order to upgrade at this point. Especially given the cost of those upgrade CPUs.
It's a dated system, and while it gains in some instances with duals, the benefits aren't...
Nope, I'm pretty sure that for some of us the statements still hold. The downtimes are a bad precidence and without ever knowing whats going on, the people that like this site are going to complain. Not too many of the forums I'm involved in give so little information about whats going wrong...
In real world applications the gains on a dual G4 aren't as great as they should be. There's no need for overanalysis (or discussing optimizations of software). The system as it is just doesn't gain enough from duals. In fact there's been a lot of cases that a single G5 has suited my needs...
I find it pretty rediculous that a site like this is having these problems. There are much larger sites offering more information, including some that serve millions of photos a day in a forum layout. There's not much excuse for a forum run by a supposed computer tech behemoth like hardocp to...
jterrell, Newegg always clearly states which products can or cannot be returned for refund. If you are certain that there was no mention of that when you ordered then call them and tell thim so and they'll probably let you return it.
Well that clearly doesn't work because unlike the restaurant making the steak as it were, newegg just sends you a motherboard off the shelf. It requires no "preparation."
I am not all that familiar with the OM camera line, but if you asked on a real photography forum (no offense to this one) you might get some more helpful responses.
You can get those just from opening up the screen on many powerbooks. Particularly with the titanium books the screen flexed considerably, you could make out where you put your fingers every time you opened the lid.
The Al powerbooks are a bit better though, but it's still an issue.
Thats why I sit it either on top of one leg towards my knee or put the edges of it on my legs well away from the important stuff. It's too uncomfortable to rest it right above my nuts.
Yes, I did indeed say shock more than once. And I was hoping maybe someone could say that it might have survived because I don't need this to break right now. I felt a shock when I touched the front USB port, the shock didn't come from the computer to the USB though, it came from me...
The motherboard lights up fine, and prior to this little zap my finger gave the front USB ports everything was fine. My computer was locked but on overnight and i moved the mouse before I hooked up the USB drive (which was when I shocked it) so my monitors were displaying my login screen. Only...
This morning I went to log in to my computer and may have shocked the front USB port when hooking up a thumb drive. Now it won't start, no video, no bios beep, and my hard drive light just comes on solid. I'm not sure there's any connection between the two, but it's all I've got to go on for...
Most of the Canons come with software to allow them to function as a webcam I believe. Remote Capture is the name for it. I've only used it a bit but it may do what you need.
indeed... if Bose got THX badges they'd be unstoppable... it'd be a marketing giant!
As it is THX means next to nothing, although in home audio you usually find it on products that are at least halfway decent but it's far from being a legitimate badge of quality anymore. If it was ever worth...
Indeed, if nothing changes that is a good thing! I guess they're not really selling it off, but they're partnering with the leader in the biggest up and coming market. Makes sense I guess... as long as quality isn't sacrificed.
I left the stickers on my Dell 8100, although sometimes I get bored with the black palmrests and put a different color on it and then I lose the stickers until i snap the black palmrests back in. On other things, like point and shoot digital cameras, they're among the first thing I peel off. I...
What's the best BIOS for overclocking on the IC7-G? I used to be able to run 3.5 but over the summer at some point I updated the bios and I can't get mine to 3.5Ghz anymore (2.8 P4) so I want to check to see if a different bios will resolve the problem.
it's not far from the truth. execs are generally not particularly tech savvy. We make extra data plots that are pretty just to show them although as far as data is concerned they're mostly useless.
Ok so I got the 7K60 drive up and running and it is FAST. I'm up and at my windows (XP Pro SP2) logon screen after less than 20 seconds once the bios screen goes by--and this isn't a new laptop nor has it been stripped of unnecessary processes to boot faster. It used to take a little over...
I'm too lazy to look it up... but he's talking to me on IM. If people provide links in the first place I won't ramble on about a camera I've never used and give the straigh shit: camera can't do it. :D
Generally I'd look it up but I'm preoccupied with a laptop I'm trying to revive from the dead.
Image stabilization techniques can allow for slower shutter speeds, but even with higher ones there's few reasons to turn it off if your camera has it. Many of the cameras with some form of stabilization built in have reasonably fast lenses with fairly high shutter speeds because the idea...
