What's with the one guy with the white hair in the audience that's there like 9 times? That's weird.
I guess it's some odd in-joke...
As for the assistant, it would be nice if it recognized something besides OK google. Gets a little annoying when all your devices respond.
I don't get how the SIMS gets in the HoF before SimCity, the game that basically made it feasible for Wright to even make the SIMS, or Civilization. Simply Baffling.
It lets you build a powerful machine with everything you need in a compact, lightweight package.
It brings new challenges in cooling, noise reduction and cabling, and component selection that you don't get with a full sized build.
On top of all that, once you've got your build worked out, a...
Thermalrights installation instructions do say that you don't need to use the backplate if your board can't accomodate it.
Since it doesn't look like it puts nearly as much pressure on the CPU as the regular Venomous-X mounting kit does, it ought to be ok, but waiting for someone else to be...
If you mean this one here, then I would suspect it should, albeit with the same constraints with the RAM hitting the larger fan, which doesn't seem like an ideal configuration anyway. With the 100mm fan, you should be fine, assuming it doesn't hit anything. There's no mobo compatibility list...
Not a great deal visible from above, and the chipset cooler makes for a tight fit, but yeah... :D
It won't reside there, but I just had to do it.
Sorry about the fuzzy BB camera picks.
I have to say the omission of the long shaft screwdriver is a mistake.
I like Corsair's quality. Never had a failure with their RAM, and their PSU's have been quite steady.
Also like that they pretty much cover the gamut of RAM needs from the entusiast kits to the value lines, and pretty much everything inbetween.
I do wish they still made SD and MicroSD cards...
Ordered one after reading this, got it a couple of days ago.
Sweet Zombie Jeezus it's big!
The pics in the review don't do it justice at all.
Haven't had time to install it yet. Actually haven't decided which system it's going in, yet, but it's a great price. Taking the remainder of the...
Well Fuck. So my choices are back to crappy Verizon DSL, my current Covad/Earthlink DSL which Earthlink claims they can't increase the speed of. or deal with the scum at CableVision. Fan-Fuckin'-tastic.
Bad enough that Verizon were already cherry picking (Redlining is more like it)...
Yes. I wish this was the default view for all online articles. Among other things, it makes offline reading a lot easier. Even when you're online it flows better when I don't have to click and wait for a whole new set of ads to load with one or two paragraphs of articles. If you need to cram all...
It would be nice if people just did the first 3, yes. But your eyes should be scanning your mirrors and forward all the time. Then you might see that suddenly irate driver you just cut off because you didn't look first or signal before abruptly changing lanes.
Honestly, if you have to look at...
There's only two RAM brands I tell people to go with then they ask. Corsair is the first one, and I tell them if they can't get Corsair for whatever reason (usually because they were slow and it's out of stock), get the other one. One failed/defective module in 20 years keeps them on my list. I...
That's what I've thought of them ever since they first showed up.
They reminded me of a yellow knock off of the Serengeti Drivers/Aviators I had (as prescription glasses) back in Jr. High. Back in the mid 1980's.
Nowadays I wear prescription polarized sunglasess, and they offer the same...
Man. PC Mag, now Computer Shopper. Granted I hadn't looked at Computer Shopper since they stopped using the giant format, but it was nice to know it was still there if only in spirit.
What really ticks me off about this is of all the possible formats they went with Zinio as the reader...
Yeah, we've had this issue here as well (US). What we found was that using a newer firmware than that offered by AT&T fixes the problem. We've been using the version from Hutchison in Hong Kong, and that seems to fix the battery problem. It's App version 4.6.0.216 and Platform 4.0.0.183 in case...
We'd shelve IE so fast for FF if either of the following were possible.
1) Every document review site on the planet wises up and stops using ActiveX plugins and just use RDP or Citrix. Seriously ActiveX plugins are the bane of my departments' existence. Last count was I think 20 Ax plugins for...
If they've got a wireless keyboard & mouse, switch receivers so they're controlling someone else's PC or nothing at all, while you or an accomplice, is actually controlling the machine.
Or:
If everyone has the same keyboard, especially if they're easily disassembled membrane types, a dab of...
I've been thinking about this myself. Under the passenger seat would probably run into issues with the stock subwoofer in the WRX. Something that utilizes the seatbelt seems like a plan.
Perhaps hacking up a cheap child safety seat with a platform and some form of clamping would work...
Wait until you have $1500 to spend.
$1300 would have gotten you what you want last summer, but prices have gone up by $100 - 200 since. If you're married to $1300 as a go-no go mark, you're probably stuck with a iBook or a no-name.
You're also probably going to be closer to $1400 shipped...
