Awesome, can you maintain 4:3 scaling on it? That's my one concern as I'm gonna be using a SNES on there.
Also, for the dudes who were worried about the Galant being discontinued, it's back up on the Canadian site so there ya go
Well, how's the P2370HD working out for ya? I'm wanting to buy one because I'm looking to get rid of a 20 inch Sony Trintron TV I have on my desk that's has my SNES, Cube and PS2 hooked up to it and also jump to a larger monitor.
I'm planning on heading to the local IKEA store this weekend anyways to get a SIGNUM. I'm kinda tired of having my cables at my feet :p
I'll check if I get around to the store if they discontinued it.
It was posted on Ikeafans a little bit back. Also, people have stated here that it's best to go to the store where they most likely have the desk even if in the worst case scenario, it's discontinued.
PS, anybody with a signum: do they include the screws needed or you're on your own for that?
Yeah, I was planning on extending mine (which I still need to still post a picture of) and it's not there yet when I was at the store last week, they still had them on display.
How do you find the new version of the shelf? I currently do have a height adjustable stand but that will not probably be for much longer as I'm considering purchasing a Samsung P2370HD. Please let me know how you feel it is.
The stuff's so much cheaper down there than it is in Canada. The legs are $16 for the 4 inch ones. I'm considering building one with the 6 inch legs. Too high? Also, do the legs include the mounting screws?
I don't know about the desk, could be a GALANT. The shelf bit is a common hack that generally uses either an EKBY or LACK shelf with Capita legs. Since IKEA's funiture colors are essentially standardized, it matches. I want to make one myself.
Well, I'm not too picky and I have not followed LCDs since 2005 so I really don't know what's good any more. I figure for resolution 1080p or 1920x1200. One thing if possible would be for the monitor to have good upscaling as I have older consoles I want to use with it (fixed aspect ratio would...
Hello people. It's been a long long while, it's nice to be back.
Anywho, I got myself a Samsung 205BW from years ago. It serves decently well for gaming. I don't game much anymore, nor do I do much graphic editing. I'm sure that will change though as during the summer, I'm due for a new build...
Hey people, I'm looking for a Socket 478 865PE or 875P motherboard and its accompanying IO bracket. I'm located in Canada, so seller must be willing to ship there. Heat is finsta, payment will be done through Paypal.
Thanks
I'm waiting for the next refresh of hardware but when would be the best time to build a new PC . I'm waiting on Penryn but I'm considering maybe to wait for the next graphics update.
I wonder if this will be any good. I don't know what revisions there are for It would seriously piss me off if it was like Shader model 2 to Shader model 3. If so, that would seriously piss me off.
Nope, Bioshock runs off of the Vengeance engine which is an extensively modded UE2.5 engine. Remember Tribes: Vengeance?
Ubisoft uses its own inhouse modded Unreal Engine 2.5+ system.
Hey all, I'm looking for a Socket 478 Pentium 4 Northwood C that's 2.8ghz or over. Seller must be willing to ship to Canada. I'd want to pay about $40 Canadian.
Thanks!

Antec True430.
I'm most likely gonna buy a new PSU and see if that's the thing as voltages are too low for my likings (11.3V on the +12V line, that would most likely cause instability). And also, if there's a...
Alright, bump but yeah. So I tried a cheapo 420W PSU and my usual Antec 430W True Power. Both hardlock the box. RAM and CPU are supposedly fine from what testing I did so, PSU suggestions anybody? Cheapo PSU pushed out 11.2V on 12V and the Antec did 11.3V
Not true, Intel has several commercial middleware libraries that are used in games and industrial uses like compilers and a JPEG library that is used in a few Blizzard games and other applications.
Greetings all,
My PC has been [H]ardlocking. Vista bluescreens and hardlocks or segfaults in linux. (heh) lately. It's been working on and off for a while now. I tested the RAM via Memtest86+ and CPU through mprime (I'm a linux junkie) and all is clear. I also reseated the 7000Alcu I have. It...
This is probably a question you guys don't get too often. I have an old(er) CRT. A Viewsonic A90f+, I replaced it with a Samsung 205BW since it was giving me the pink screen where the cable is pretty much garbage. I want to replace the cable so I can go dual monitor if possible but the cable its...
