Update!!! It seems running multiple VM instances on a single core each just slows down the VM clock. My system completed 20% in 7 hours, which equates to 21 mins for each %, but FahSpy stated it only took 12 mins for each %, so it dramatically misrepresented PPD gain using more VM instances...

Here's my suggestion, use it as a fan shroud for a fan you actually like. ;) Snip off the supports for the fan... Drill out one side of the holes so you can get a screwdriver in to screw the shroud to the other fan and viola!
