AMD Barton 3200+
1GB RAM
9600 pro
shitty 300W PSU with a 18A 12V rail.
I am pretty close to retiring this machine. What would be awesome would be if I could keep it usable for at least a while. Obviously I haven't really been able to play any games for a long while so I don't expect any...
A friend of mine is going to buy a A7N8X-X to replace his shitty matsonic board. Now, he's got a 2100+ t-bred with a 133MHz bus. I'm thinking it should work, but I couldn't find any info on ASUS' homepage. Does anyone have any experience with something like this?
Hello dear readers, i have a quite serious issue I think. When I play Counter-Strike Thief 3 and similiar games, my computer sometimes crashes to desktop without any error messages.
My system is:
Some cheapo mobo
AMD 2100+ throughbred
512mb DDR266 ram
Radeon 9600pro 256mb never been OCed...
When I took my 2500+ from 166MHz FSB to 188FSB (I don't want to change voltagestuff) my benchmark scores dropped. I figured going from 1833->2067 (12% or so) I should get some minor performance gain. Am I doing something wrong? I pretty went into BIOS and upped my FSB, saved and tested.
