Concur on the iPad recommendation. Especially going with your intended uses. Android, while good for smartphones, has a bit of growing room to go for tablets. Even Google themselves have said that Android in its current form is not meant for tablets right now.

The GT's look very nice, however I'm not sure if these would work with the TRUE Spirit due to the fan clip design and the closed hole format these fans have. Was kinda hoping for a PWM version too, but 3-pin will work if there's a decent way to mount them on a TRUE Spirit (guessing there is).

Well, it's not loud at all and the only reason I probably even noticed is I have all my fans unplugged at the moment. Mainly wanted to see if this was anything to be worried about, as it seems almost all PSU's make some electrical noise to differing degrees and types.

Definitely not the fan as I already started the unit with the fan held stopped. The noise is highly localized inside the PSU. If it is indeed some form of coil whine, is there anything that can be done to help that? I've heard of using hot glue on the whining coil.

If you're getting around 68 load with a V8 you're not doing too badly. I had a defective V8 myself and couldn't get it below 78 at load (stock). Also, what's your airflow setup look like?

Try upping your VDIMM to 1.65 or 1.7, I can reproduce this same issue on my P6T (normal version) when I populate all slots with 12GB (while overclocking) and it's either due to a voltage low making a stick not run properly or it may be related to QPI/Uncore voltage. Might want to try tweaking...

That voltage range you're looking at could be the fan voltage range if you're reading from the v8 box but if you're looking for your CPU voltage, grab OCCT, hit run on the default stress test, and under CPU vcore in the monitoring section check that number. Under load that's your CPU voltage.

Quite good. There's a 120 at the rear, what I think is a 140 up top, and another 120 in the front with a well ventilated opening. I should mention, the air temps inside the case close to the CPU are only a little above ambient, the CPU heatsink hardly gets warm under full load OCCT.
