Yes Thuleman, and I will never turn that off.. If you turn off client authorization, ALL hacked clients can now join the server.. I'm not risking that.. Hacked clients aren't the same as ours, and my plugins would be useless. Minecraft.net is the problem. It is simply buggered in all holes...

Server just had memory dump crash.. Dunno why. I can only assume that without regular reboots, the server will degrade in performance and eventually crash. Most likely because of the memory leak issues. I'm not entirely certain, mostly assuming here. Anyways, the server is back up. :)

For the sake of keeping the address quiet for now yeah I have it posted on the Hashland forums only for now. I don't want certain links to private dboxes and information to be openly public. Registering just keeps things more secure.. In a way. New server is much nicer, that I can assure you. :)

Best texture pack around is Misa's Overhaul 64x64 texture pack. It always works, works with the Ambient Occlusion mod and Zan's minimap mod. The animals, players default skins are all changed as well. Uses the mcpatcher utility. Just use the MCpatcher to patch to 64, and then copy + paste...

I just generated the entire exposed world on HashLand into a .png file using minemapper... The file dimensions are... 30538x13866 around 1.6 gigs in size.. Dunno why lol.. First pass ( 1/ 9 ) is creating a temp image, and even that is around 256mbs lol I will obviously just crop out the main...

Well you judging the performance of Beta from jumping on HashLand server, you had a poor encounter hehe, as the server was running with a 9.4 mb / disk write speed since the first, second day of beta.. Performance is slightly worse overall, as beta is using more resources and the memory leak bug...

Yup, my server is plagued with pillars or unloaded chunks, and huge missing areas of world... It is probably the worst bug I've seen involving the world generation. Not even Alpha had such an obvious, detrimental bug.
