Does anybody know if this is the full version or an upgrade? I can't tell based on the description, but its saying it normally costs $199.99 which makes me think its a full install. If this is the case, this would be a hot deal! Only $39.99 for Windows 8 Pro full install...
I bought this laptop back in October and it has been a great machine! It is in perfect working order and in pristine condition. It includes the original box and all the cables/discs/manual. Machine originally sold for $760, looking for $600 OBO. The following are the specs:
Espresso Black...
Ok, so I have a p4 2.8 northwood, 2gb dual on an IC7-MAX3 running with a Sapphire 3850 AGP and I have an antect smart power 2.0 400w PSU and everything is running great. My question is that if it is really necessary to get a bigger PSU, atm I don't really have any money to upgrade it? So...
Believe it or not, its only a year old... I bought it back in February of last year. The thing that annoys me is that my 9800 pro lasted me 4 years but this thing only lasted a year before it started to flake out :(.
I have a HIS x1650xt AGP card and as of lately I've notice quite a bit of green/red dots on my screen. I thought it was the monitor so I bought a new one but they were still there. They can randomly appear on the screen or they can appear in rows and are only visable on dark backgrounds. I...
I bought a ViewSonic VP171b about 4 years ago and it has worked great, but I've been having a problem with it as of late. When I bought the display it didn't have any dead or stuck pixels but now they are starting to form. But the thing is they aren't really "stuck". There are about 20 of them...
genesee, the tearing in windows is normal. I noticed it also on my VP171b and though it was odd when I would move a window real fast it would 'tear'. So I decided to try it on a different computer with a CRT, and it did the same thing. I don't think its the GPU, its just something normal with...
I have a VP171b, and I'm considering upgrading to the 201b. My question is, do you get the "blue box", tells you what kind of input you are using such as Digital, every time the screen flickers to change resolutions? I hate that about my VP171b, hoping the 201b got rid of it.
Yes, its my storage dr ive. The Raptor is my C: drive and the 80GB SATA is my D: drive that I use for storeage, I was going to place the ghost image on the D: .
Ok, so I bought Norton Systemworks 2004 Pro, for all the extras, but all the main reason is to get Ghost. I'm tired of installing all my programs everytime I format, so I wanted to do a fresh install and make a ghost image of it. So I open up Ghost and run it to save the image on my secondary...
Alternating blue on the title bars? My VP171b doesn't do that... unless you're talking about when you drag a screnn and it "flickers", I thought that was just "blurring/ghosting", but it doesn't bother me. I also don't get the dithering affect you're talking about after games on my desktop. I...
*Shrug*, I only notice the dithering when I'm in an area in a game with a lot of trees and brush. Besides that, I never notice it, and its not that bad once you get use to it. The "blurring", which there is a very slight ammount, is more annoying than the dithering, and when you stop looking for...
I did use the disk that came with the mobo, but it gives you several diffrent drivers. Also, which SATA slot do you get the best performance out of? I just selected 1 and 2, I have no idea. :/
When installing windows, do I use the Intel SATA driver for SATA slot 1 and 2? It gives me a whole bunch of options, of diffrent drivers to install, but I don't know which one to use. I would assume the Intel, since SATA 1 and 2 are controlled by the south bridge, but I'm not sure. Anyone know?
I just bought one of these off newegg a week ago, and just finished installing windows. Now with this deal, I might get it for a RAID set up. My question is, do I need to reinstall windows if I want to set up a RAID 0 array?
Hey, I finally got my system to work with my new WD Raptor 74GB. However, it doesn't seem THAT much faster than my previous WD 120GB 7200 IDE drive I was using. Installing software seems to be about the same length of time, so I'm wondering if maybe I messed something up with the bios settings...
Ok, so I tried to set up the system with just the SATA in SATA1, and the CD-RW in IDE 1, and the DVD in IDE2, I get the same problem that I do with the IDE HDD in IDE 1, after post I get a black screen and the system locks. The only way I was alowed to boot up into windows was when the bios was...
Ok, I did install the SATA driver, because it works fine in windows ALONE, I was able to boot to windows with all the other devicies (cd rom, etc), but I can't get it to boot with the IDE HDD enabled. Anyone know how to fix this problem?
Ok, I'm really confused on how you set up this drive in bios. I can't get windows to boot unless ALL the IDE devicies are turned off and only the SATA drive is turned on. When the other drives are enabled, when booting to windows you see the post screen, the SATA drive makes a grinding sound...
ARGH, I can't get XP to label the SATA drive as c:, where on the ic7-max3 bios do you set the sata as the primary boot? I found something called HDD boot priority, and stuck the Onboard SATA as number 1, but it doesn't affect the drive selection. Windows keeps giving me the IDE as the c: and the...
Ok, I just bought my first SATA drive. A WD 10000RPM 74GB Raptor (C:). I also have a WD 120GB SE 7200RPM IDE as my secondary drive (D:) This is my first time dealing with SATA drives, so how the hell do you set them up with an IDE drive present in the system? I know how to install them in the...
