Call me a curmudgeon, but electronics are things that I like to buy new or recertified from the manufacturer, not second-hand from an individual. You should calculate mileage/gas into the equation, especially since you get free shipping deals all the time on the internet.

labels work well enough like folders for me. it's better too, because since all the message can be lumped together, i don't have to remember which folder its in to quickly search in all labels...why pop it down though? i let google deal with the harddrive space so i don't have to.

We used these and spybot at the university. It amazing how messed up these kids machines got.

I think the only limitation would be only one computer and that you could do it as many times as you needed, if it wasn't abused (calling in every other day). In my experience, they have only asked a few questions and I had to state that I had reinstalled XP and it existed only on one machine.

UPS will also supply boxes and label pouches. I know the boxes say that they are only for overnight and 2-day, but I ship items ground in them ALL the time for work. I just cross out the extremely urgent markings. Never had a problem.

I still have trouble with manual settings sometimes. I have found John Hedgecoe's books useful. Sometimes when I go out to shoot, I use the auto mode for a few pictures to gather information on the current light condition, shadows, etc... I go back and look at the aperture and shutter speeds...

For my personal pictures I use this system. Some are categorized by genres as well. For work, I use Picasa to organize pictures by event. Picasa is easy, fast, and efficient. I love it.
