People are trying for 120 FPS games like bf3-- I am because I have 120 Hz monitor and I run it with lightboost/0 motion blur. So it has to hit 120 fps plus deal with 3d overhead.

If it is flipping in and out of 3d in game with ctl-T then it's working in game; when you are in desktop, try to alter the OSD settings; you will only see contrast and lightboost options available to modify. It will only always be in LB mode if you've set the stereoscopic settings to be on...

You are wrong, NJames, you won't be able to do the 3d without the nvidia card; and similarly see my post above. You will be able to play games at 144hz.

Ya, you'll have to use the hack unless you buy a nvidia 3dvision kit. That's what I did and I love it. Games like BATMAN and DEADSPACE 3 are absolutely stunning in 3d! (with the help of HELIX mod); not to mention watching 3d videos, 3d pics and 3d movies on my blu-ray. Highly recommended...

gUYS, this is easily fixed by forcing vsync and using a fps limiter to around 45-60 fps, I like 45 the best. It cures the stutter. The best way to do this is use a fxaa injector mod such as iccc which includes ENB series stuff that gives you a fps coutner and limiter plus the beneifits of...

Why didn't you guys analyze the effect of enabling ambient occlusion? I has this enabled and it makes a huge difference in overall image Iquality. For those of you worried about performance use oblivion compatibility rather than skyrim looks and performs better I think.

More importantly than this run ambient occlusion via nvidia tweak.

I think FXAA actually compliments the game very well, I prefer the look it gives, some call it blurry, to me it seems more like artistic. I'm running 4xMSAA with FXAA.

There is a registry hack that amounts to changing a 1 to a 0 that should let you boot into windows in AHCI mode after a reboot. Can't research it now but I've done it before. Of course, you could always reinstall the OS with AHCI enabled in the bios and that will work.
