I recently downloaded a full HD texture mod for Starfield (130GB). Started playing again since its finally out of Beta with its last patch LOL.
Running way smoother now for me. And my god does the game look great with 4k/8k textures at 4k resolution :). Uses up to 20+ gigs of video memory...
I aint going to bash the game, as i mean a lot of people like it. So, its doing something right.
I am just not a fan of the pokeman stuff. Never was my cup of tea. When Pokeman came out in the US I was more interesting in the original Counter-strike :)
from what I read the developers already cleared hurdles in Japan to make sure they didnt copy Nintendo and it was approved by Japan. So, might be hard for Nintendo to do anything.
Now, Nintendo did get the full Pokeman mod taken down for this game. So, it does look like Nintendo knows very...
So, a lot of my friends ignored The Day Before because an open beta for Once Human opened up.
https://www.oncehuman.game/
Now word of warning to come. The Developer is owned by Netease.
The game is a smash up of a lot of games and done well?
Good Luck
Yap, knew that was going to happen.
A lot of my friends are playing Once Human (Netease developer) The open beta is currently going and its getting rave reviews from a lot of people.
Game will be release on steam as well. But you can download the open beta and play today...
Oh yeah thats way closer to the ship design. I should just mod the game to remove the limit. I was worried it was just clip into everything and not look right at all.
Did you use the mod that allows you to build a ship and have all the parts from every style of ships you can get?
I tried to base the design of the Daedalus from Stargate. I know I am limited by the game (No mod's yet to expand the size etc etc). Roast away people! But I love it!
The one thing I will say in the defense of Bethesda. 90% of the people expected a buggy game with odd ball choices in the game. To me I do love playing starfield, but I know for a fact it is just fallout 4 in space with a new story and ships thrown in. Starfield imo is not the best game...
Yeah I didnt rush threw the game at all. I actually finished most quests/factions etc. Got all the powers I could before going into NG+. I would say took be about 20 days to beat it. I know there was some things i probably didnt find but the game is so massive.
My plan is to do NG+ to...
Same reason they didn't let AMD use PhysX or tried to sell you Gsync modules over freesync back in the day. They want those people to buy into the Nvidia ecosystem. Nvidia is not consumer friendly. But, neither is AMD in a lot of ways.
As someone who games on a 65" OLED i too can attest to how fucking great DLSS is for 4k gaming. FSR2 is decent, but DLSS is just vastly superior compared to FSR2.
The only thing right now FSR2 has over DLSS is that any video card can use it. Even Nvidia GPU's that dont support DLSS.
LOL considering Call of Duty is usually one of the top multiplayer games every year. Saying that no one cares is absolutely wrong.
This just shows that you want to ignore that it is entirely possible its the GPU architecture that makes AMD card's run better than Nvidia when it comes to...
I dont think its how the engine is, as much as the architecture of the GPU.
Lets look at the latest Call of Duty. Why does it run so well on AMD GPU's compared to Nvidia's GPU's? Last I saw the 4090 was on par with a 7900XTX.
Why is no one complaining that Call of Duty is unoptimized because...
I do agree with you, but at the same time I know quite a few people did not expect progress. Deep down this game is just Fallout in space. Now, There are issues with the game no doubt. But, the more you play it the more you see that this is a normal Bethesda RPG.
Did you ever play any previous Bethesda games? Skyrim, fallout, morrowind played just like this. So, this is the norm for these type of games from them.
I dont know about anyone else, but i swear to god im getting better framerate with the newest Nvidia driver. at 4k maxed out im getting around 43-55fps maxed out with FSR2 at 80%. I would easily dip in the mid 30's before. Makes me wonder if Rebar was an issue before these drivers.
Not spoiling anything. But yes I think you can become a ranger (doing a quest). Now finding the planet to do it on. I have no fucking idea where Its located but hey I did find them LOL.
Loving the game. The only minor nitpick is there doesnt seem to be any HDR :/ unless im an idiot and didnt see it. But if there isnt thats too bad. A game like this could of really used it.
So, one thing too. NMS was made with Multiplier in mind, which why the entries into planet has to work.
Starfield is a pure single player RPG game. NMS is more a hardcore space survival game.
See I dont know about that. Mass Effect did the same thing Starfield does when it comes to landing on a planet. And those games were fantastic (We dont talk about Andromeda). So to me as long as the story is good and be a RPG. I could care less if I cannot fly into a planet to land.
Now, I...
In this day in age. If you keep screaming about something even though you have no proof or evidence means that it must be true! People like to join on on things when usually 90% of the time the people doing the screaming haven't even touched the product because they read it on the internet...
But again, this is all speculation. Again, there is nothing stopping Bethesda adding DLSS. Why would they? Since right away FSR is supported on the Xbox AND PC (For everyone).
IMO I think the reason they did just FSR 2.0 is because its supported by all video cards. Including older Nvidia cards that dont have DLSS. So, in a companies eye its easier to implement 1 technology for everyone, instead of 1 technology for a select few people.
Now quality wise, DLSS is...
