Spaceman, Not sure I'm following you. I'm not using a receiver in my setup. Currently just a small Lepai T amp to my klipsch speakers. Would I do: Computer ==> AudioEngine DAC ==> SUB High Level Input ==> SUB High Level Output ==> Lempai Amp ==> Speakers??

I would only want speakers for a desk near-field and whole-room listening close to monitor. These seem pretty big and yeah expensive. Wouldn't the Lepai not provide enough power to those speakers? Would these speakers suffice? (Looked at these earlier) Thanks for input.
