I have two HIS IceQ H5670 video cards in my system and on one of them the fan is dying, ratteling noises while it's running...I pulled it out of it's bushing and lubed it with some triflow and it quieted down for a day but it's back to being noisy today so I guess I'm not going to be able to fix...

thankyou!!! that was the problem....the check box for private was ticked but not the one for public in the firewall settings for vnc. checked the public box and I'm now able to connect again with all my devices :)

I can transfer files to and from the htpc.....I'm not sure how to ping them but they do see each other on the network at least.

Both, won't work from my tablet, phone, or my wired computer. The vnc server is running normally on the htpc as far as I can tell, something in the new router is just preventing anything from connecting to it.

ok, tried it and IE works correctly, no taskbar when full screen:). However I don't use IE and can't make a taskbar shortcut to netflix in IE (that I'm aware of) to make it easy to start netflix with a single click in the home theater.

Turned out nice:) Yeah, I really torqued all the pipes into the fittings and also used some blue loctite on the threads and that seemed to work for me but a spot of weld works too:D I need to get a small welding machine and learn some basic welding..thats a very usefull skill.

As taikero mentioned, I would need to get a different length threaded pipe if I needed a different height for the whole array (the hole I cut in top of the T fitting is only for the wiring to pass through), however if you think about it, how often do you get a new desk? I've had mine for over 15...
