im rocking a 15" 1.5gig 1.5ghz pbook. i love the thing. does everything i need it to do and more, long battery life, sexy as hell. go buy it o_O

time to accept that fact that no matter what happens, gaming on the mac just wont be like gaming on the pc. hoepfully youve already accepted that computing on a pc just wont ever be like computing on a mac either ;) i think its a good trade off.

i jog with my mini, take it to the gym, etc. comes with a belt clip, pretty kick ass little player, i recommend it.

raw performance would be about the same, imho. you get experience with osx on the powerbook tho, and many find photoshop etc. easier to use on osx, as opposed to windows.

in photoshop? yes, ridiculously faster :) theres benchmarks on apple.com. im just in a rush and cant grab them atm.

i had an ibook with the radeon 9200 and it woudlnt drive 1600x1200. it would, but it looked and ran like ass. those graphics cards arent meant to go that high with dual monitor support. but of course, ymmv.

either you have a broken keyboard, or, well, thats it. there is plenty of 3key combos in OSX. and they involve using all parts of the keyboard. shift-cmd-c (all in the lower left) is an example of one that works on my apple keyboard just now.

amen. i can save 800 bucks for downgrading. im not hurting for money, just seems logical. even tho i love this 15"pb. was just getting some ideas.
