Looks like making a c# program to collect the data from the folders might work for me, then I'll figure out how to import it into my trend spreadsheet.
Anyone ever setup a power shell script to get disk and folder size and export results to a share for trend analysis over time?
I'm looking to set up trending for specific folders growth, once a month for several machines.
I am trying the get-foldersize script, not much luck getting the...
So no one really knows how it's going to really perform but everyone has already declared it's too expensive.
WTH has [H] the old tecchies 'I got to have the baddest shit out no matter the cost' persona gone? Sounds like everyone is now in the 'give me cheap shit or I'm going to trash you'...
Why do people keep using comparison talking points between Euclideon and Voxels? It is clear that Comanche is not what Euclideon does...they do pixels, not voxels, and 3d scanned items, not hand made polygon art.
I decided to make a partition from the command line, so allowing for 128Mib free space following the partition, I calculated the end sector to be:
236568503 - 262144 = 236306359
Then I unmounted disk0 with: diskutil unmountDisk disk0
Then I tried gpt to create the HFS+ partition: gpt add -b 40...
This is where I am at:
Booted to USB key with ubuntu, found the disk and unmounted it.
I connected an external drive and used command option r to install the Mac OS X to the external drive
From the external drive boot into Mac OS I used the disk utility to format the drive, which failed.
I...
I decided to make a bootable ubuntu USB key, worked well.
Booting form the USB I can see the disk, it was unformatted so I formatted it and figured I woul dbe able to see it in the option command r bootup utilities...nope, still not showing.
So, I know the disk works, how to make the macbook...
I have a MacBook Pro 13", wanted to completely reset it and discovered it wont reinstall to the original OS because OS10.7 was now on the disk.
So I went into diskutil, erased the mac os partition and the damn thing disappeared. I was able to use time machine to restore, then decided to tempt...
As far as I can tell, there was no expansion of powers in this case.
Just in case you had any gross misconceptions about it: The FBI used a fully ratified process that came from our constitution. No expansion was necessary.
I can't believe they used the chicken and egg argument.
Hint: No chicken has ever existed that was not hatched from an Egg. Beyond that, I could care less about where the egg came from, could have been a mutant dino for all I care (and it probably was that as well).
In 1,000 years, if we still exist, our languages will have long since been replaced with more efficient modern languages. In 10,000 years, almost nothing of current society will exist. In 100,000 years, the intelligent life on the planet will not even know of our society and will have invented...
No that's a stupid argument. Would be more like buying a prius and then needing a new battery 5 years down the road and finding out it's no longer available.
Why do you think that? I can understand not wanting to lose your privacy, but if there is a court order, your ass is already on the line. In this case, Apple would have been up shit creek if the feds hadn't found a way to unlock the phone. I am sure Apple is still going to lose their asses on...
All you guys crying about government infringing on your rights...it's in the constitution.
Besides that, the government owns the phone, don't even need a court order to hack it.
Finally: There is no device that is totally private, or it would be unusable by even the owner.
I thought that game was more about memorializing the child who died from cancer and less about making money to start with. I feel bad that the kid died and I feel bad for the friends and family, but to complain that the game didn't sale is kind of tripping...I'll just let them be.
Ummm...You falling for the argument here? Let me share this with you: Exceptions do exist in the rule, like the specific court order that exists. Apple vagrantly violated that court order.
Believe it or not, I don't care, but the court actually already has the constitutional right to take away...
Say what you want, I wish we could make DST all year around. I love having daylight until 8:30-9:00 PM, gives more time for outdoors stuff after work, etc...
Let me address the lack of stars in the background issue with an untouched picture I made in my backyard in the middle of a summer afternoon with bright sunlight. I took the picture because I wanted to see how my telescope camera would handle bright scenery. It's a high contrast camera...
Lol... Fake moon landing believers actually exist. And here, man this place is going to shit.
BTW: I used to sit on my mothers shoulders watching the Apollo launches from the family viewing area, my dad actually worked at NASA then, he was an engineer and worked on the crawlers.
I am fairly...
In the related case, I noticed J. Mcafee claims he will decipher that iPhone for free if Apple keeps refusing.
My take: If that can be pulled off, it's probably already been done for all Apple devices, and the only reason the FBI took it to court is because they can't use the data they have...
Just looking for suggestions on easy to setup server side SSO between multiple server applications.
Basically, our team decided that it would be nice to have an SSO system in place with the goal of only needing a user to authenticate to just one app, then an authentication ticket would be...
A little different question here, not a big Mac person but have a specific need: I need to schedule a job on OSX to delete the contents of two folders, once a week. Currently I have been using terminal rm -rf on the folders manually.
Would appreciate if anyone can advise me on an easy way to...
Jenkins newb here....
Does anyone have a simple method to add a revert command for vmware workstation virtual machines that will occur as a new job starts?
Of course I can set Jenkins to power down a vm after a job and then I can set vmware workstation to revert on power off but that does...
Thanks, sorry for not getting back sooner. This is the piece that was missing.
Hate to say it but phraseanet installation is mostly guesswork...some extensions create the extensions ini files and some don't...
That's what I am trying to do...correct that. I've compiled and installed what it said is needed but something is still missing. I think the phrasea2 is supposed to show as a php driver but it's not.
Who knows...this is the most frustrating install I have done to date, the install docs...
I'm installing phraseanet on Ubuntu 14.04 Server, have all prereq's done but the search engine install didn't seem to do anything. If anyone knows any tricks please share.
pre-install system:check show this...
