I just got an HP DV8 lappy w/ an i7cpu and 6 gigs of memory/Win 7 I've run ACAD/aspire3d/stream music/internate browsing/task manager and can't get past 27% mem usage I can get all 8 cores cookin and turbo boost boostin! any ideas on how to push mem usage higher? More programs open...etc...

I just put in 2 gigs of memory into my HP7000. I do alot of cad and Photochop stuff (tiff files) I've read that no page file, to run on a seperate partition (what size?), to let windows manage the page file size is best! Even if you run no page file, windows will still set one up. What to do?
