Friend of mine linked this earlier and I thought it was pretty interesting. I don't have an iPhone but if I did this would be on my get list. Being able to take pics with a single hand and not have it turn out like crap would be awesome...
With hard drive prices returning to semi-sane levels I've started my home server build so I figured I'd do a write up to share whatever challenges I find along the way for anyone else thinking of a similar build.

Looking at building my dad a new rig and I'm torn between going the 1155 route or Llano
He doesn't need powerhouse graphics just the capability to play blu-ray which either platform should do fine with integrated gfx (I plan on going quad core for this rig just to give him flexability in use)...

So with my finances back in the green I've been able to stand up two Linux 64 bit folders.
I scored a stupid deal on some Dell 6850 servers, both have 4x Intel Xeon Dual Core CPU's and 32gb ram (woot).
Anyhow I followed the -bigadv guide and I'm seeing a lot of CPU idle time and I'm not...
Time to clean house from some projects that never got off the ground and make room for others that...probably wont ever get off the ground.

I've been using the onboard Toslink from the 780i up to this point but it's really not cutting the mustard, never has and I'm ready to do something about it.
So I'm...
