Wow - I thought this was a joke url that you'd come up with on the spot when I read it before posting above, and as such didn't click it.
Now that I have realised it is not a blag, I've concluded that all hope for humanity is lost.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention
my laptop does this regularly, but they go in the end. I did start a thread about it a few weeks ago.
Try ./fah -send all
See if that jollies them along :-)
My 3 year old son is quite happy on a #! Laptop. Tbh, distro makes no odds, so long as they can fire up a browser and navigate some bookmarks. Then choose your educational tools from the web.
It's kinda cool watching him on #! though, cos the non-techie visitors think he's making magic.
I think the OP has come accross the same problem that I have recently.
Some 'android' tablets do not have a 'login', nor do they allow access to the market so that you can.
Took me by surprise too, didn't realise how fragmented the OS was until I bought my wife an arnova tablet for xmas...
Whilst doing something completely irrelevant I ended up looking in the FAHlog.txt on my lappy, and noticed that every time I boot for the last couple of days it's been trying to upload two WU's, and failing.
I've just stopped the process, and run a "-send all" and it successfully uploaded...
I can't really help either, and I'm subscribing too!
I'm going to suggest that you have a look at the Raspberry Pi wiki's though. They're primary storage will be an SD card, and I know there's some distros being ported to it, so may be of some help?

Now there's odd. A friend of mine's just asked me about this exact same problem. It followed on from a conversation about spyware that I think I've helped him remove, but I need to see his PC.
I kinda assumed that the spyware he removed was hiding there, so when the registry entry or...
Not sure how to bring the bubble back, but this is another way round it...
When you click them as 'write to CD', if you then go in to My computer > drive letter of your CD-writer 'write these items to CD' is one of the friendly links in the menu on the left.
Standby and I'll try and...
When my A8N32 first arrived I had to run it with a PCI graphics card and it booted first time with no problems. The setting in the BIOS only sets which card to default too AFAIK.
I'd look elsewhere for the problem tbh. :)
It's 'easier' to set up FAH in a sort of "throw it on and forget about it" fashion (espescially as a service), and personally I've found FAH to be more reliable, as it were.
That said, UD isn't exactly complicated, and we're still 10th in that ;) :p
As title really. I've got two machines here that haven't been able to upload results for nearly 24 hours. Is anybody else struggling, or is it time for me to get my screwdriver out?
TIA
Yeah, they're just stacked on PCB spacers :D
Should have been all together by now, but my soldering iron's gone a bollock :(
Hopefully it's just the fuse, and I'll get right back on it.

I know you can't see it very well, but the cables are packed in so tight I couldn't move it without moving the desk, and I cba :p

Police Constable - In the West Midlands Police (UK).
No degree. Just a load of *bad* GCSE results, a GNVQ in business studies (don't ask) and a LOT of police related qualifications. Driving most specifically.
Fix peoples PC's in my spare time for a few extra quid.
OK, I'm by no means a linux expert! I've recently obtained a laptop and stuck a dual boot on it, WinXP and Fedora Core 4 with the intention of learning linux (yeah, probably about my fifth attempt, but at least I'm showing willing ;) ).
Anyway, I've got this wierd problem where I can only...
Thanks!
I'm still trying to dream something up, but having just come off nights my brain is a bit fried. Will sort somethign soon for collective approval.
It would be a pain if you actually needed to get to it. But in fairness everytime you screw up a setting on this board (or everytime I have so far, anyway!), you just hit the reset switch and you get an error message and you can either get back in to the BIOS to rectify your mistake, or press a...
Tee hee, I was going to try and come up with one when I wrote that post, but my head started to hurt.
I'm on nights tonight, so I'll try and come up with something tomorrow when I get up. ;)
Perhaps somebody could just come up with a blanket statement that could be cut and pasted into these kind of threads?
Something that (a) Describes the benefits of folding. (b) Describes how little user effort is required to assist in progressing medical research that we will all benefit...
